Thanks, your directions pretty much follow the video. My issue at the moment is how to get the 2 images into Photoshop in the right order and as background and layer. Both your instructions and the video don't address that. I am guessing that once I figure that out I should be able to follow both your directions and those in the video.

I want to replace the person or at least the head of the person in the attached image with the person or head of the person in my second image. The person or head I want replaced is the fella standing at the far right in the back row with the person or head of the person in the single image attached here. Well... this is not fun! I just updated Lightroom Classic this morning and when trying to edit a photo it becomes extremely unstable and unresponsive and finally crashes. Not good considering I have a number of photos I need to edit... Why is this happening and how to I fix it? This morning I am trying to edit images in Lightroom Classic as layers in Photoshop 2024, Edit in / Open as Layers in Photoshop and getting an error that says: Photoshop Version Open Warning. Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop 2024 are having issues connecting. Please reinstall Adobe Photoshop 2024 and try again. This was all working fine yesterday and previously.. I don't see anyway that I can re-install Photoshop 2024. When I go to Adobe Creative Cloud there is no option to re-install. When I log into Adobe.com there is also no option to re-install the app. How do I re-install Photoshop 2024 per the instructions in the error message? All the apps in my subscription are up to date.

This is NOT solved. It is back to taking up to 5 minutes to launch Lightroom Classic. Not to mention that after using Lightroom and closing the application my computer becomes very sluggish and unstable.

I did explain how I solved it. And, I saw my response after I posted it. No idea why it is not here now. As I stated prior... I removed all the plug-ins but the one that I use all the time and that fixed the issue.

Why does Lightroom Classic take up to 5 minutes to launch? I am running a computer with Windows 11 with all updates. The computer resources are: 8 core processor, 32GB Ram, 8TB hard drive space, 6GB NVidia display card. I don't understand why it takes so long for Lightroom Classic to launch and be responsive. How does one fix this? Thanks

That is incorrect! The image sub folders have been their prior under 2017. I've not done any importing and as such have not imported anything to the wrong folder...

@Sameer K, I am running the latest version of LRC and Windows 11. I have not moved any of the images or image folder from the hard drive. I am in the correct primary catalog. I will try your suggestion regarding Find All Missing Photos and let you know the results. Thanks.

In my catalog, I have a folder for each year with sub folders underneath of my different photo projects. Today I noticed that for the year of 2017 I am only showing 6 folders in LRC of the actual 86 total folders under it in that folder on my hard drive. This apparently happened recently. How do I get all 86 of the subfolders under the folder 2017 on the hard drive to show back up and be available in Lightroom Classic? Thanks
