I visit thousands of sites each year and this is the only site where it happens. Searching Google for Cannot reply Adobe community forum using Safari on Mac shows many users with such problem. This is really FRUSTRATING!!!   1. The scroll bar is visible all the time (as desired) in Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release | Version 2022.002.20191 but NOT (you need to try to scroll to show it, which  is NOT desired) in Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release | Version 2023.006.20380   The same happens with older and the current version of Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release | Version 2023.006.20380   2. On the other hand, the knob of the scroll bar is always too dimm gray and extremely hard to stop. Searching Internet for   adobe acrobat scroll erratic video   shows some examples. Thanks. All Macs are affected. This issue (see also the other FRUSTRATING issues that BLOCK PRODUCTIVITY on my previous messages in this thread) have been around for ever.   As an example of these amazing issues, Adobe Acrobat DC Pro broke the digital signature with certificate on Mac. It took Adobe years to fix it, adven after being reported again, again and again. Hi Amal, thanks for the message. The reported issues happen with all PDF files, including all scientific papers published, using previous and the latest Adobe Pro DC and Adobe Reader versions. No problem with applications like PDF Expert. These are  REAL problems of Acrobat on Mac that have been around for ages now. No, the problem is not in macOS. The problem is in Acrobat. Both Pro and Reader. And switching to reader mode does not fix it either. Thanks WaLeeD-64, that works better, but not when you have the search window (Command F) open to search. Then, scrolling behaves like a zoombie being utterly slow, unresponsive and with unexpected and unwanted autonomous (zoombie) scrolling actions. Really frustrating! I do not think that the issues cannot be fixed. PDF Expert has not only fixed all of them, but also added amazing new functionality, like:   - The awesome search engine (Command F) with right pane (much as Microsoft Word Shift Command H left pane search works).   -Likewise, the possibility to move or rename the PDF in the Finder and still open it when double-clicked, being also update such name in recently opened files within the application.   - And even the option to rename PDF files just clicking its name in the top menu bar.   All that is really fantastic for productivity workflows. Using the Apple optical wired mouse with scroll knob improves to some extent scrolling even when the search window is open, in relation to the horrible experience when using the newer wireless Apple Magic Mouse 2. But far away from optimal.   So, it is clearly a problem of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Adobe Acrobat Reader with both such Apple wired and wireless mice. I think that this issue was fixed long ago in Windows, But clearly it is not fixed on Mac. As extra bonuses (great to significantly enhance productivity) not available in Acrobat Pro DC, PDF Expert (as other applications like Microsoft Word for Mac do) does the following: 1. Show updated "File - Open Recent" file names. Amazingly in real time when the application is open and you change the file name in the Finder. Fantastic!   2. It is amazing that this serious bug that blocks productivity has not been fixed after such a long time suffering it. It would be also useful if both Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC allowed to configure the "View - Zoom", for instance as "Fit Width" for all newly open PDF files now and in the future, until the setting is changed. Now it is not possible, and virtually all PDF files open with a smaller area, without such "Fit Width" setting, requiring manually making such width zoom, which is specially useful in large monitors, which are standard now.
