Hi David I have followed the instructions and replaced the preferences file by deleting it and then restarting the PC and Lightroom. This solved the matter and everything is working great again. Thank you for your help on this.

Hi David I have tried this and all presets are selected to be active. I can not reimport them either as Lightroom acknoledges they exist but i cant view them.

I downloaded and installed the free Adobe presets yesterday and since then I am not able to see or use any of my presets. I have tried a resets but this has not helped.

Hi Peter The files that were deleted were direct imports from the camera that I wanted to put keywords in as well as going to specific folders. I dont believe any were from the app imports however I could be mistaken. If there could be recovered would be fantastic. Thank you. Brendon

I am not sure they synced into the Cloud. According to the app they had and they did appear on Lightroom on the PC. So I assume they did sync. No they dont appear on the link you send. When opening on the PC it is in Classic.

I have recently been away for my honeymoon and used my phone to take a number of photos as it was not practical to use my dSLR camera. I used the Lightroom app as I wanted to be able to edit these and wanted to take these in RAW. I opened the app yesterday to start editing and as i scrolled through the photos disappeared and were lost. It only seems to be the photos shot with the phone camera built into the Lightroom app. All other photos are still there. As you can imagine this is very frustrating at loosing these photos. Last night I opened Lightroom on my PC while offline to see if these photos were still synced across but they had disappeared as well yet they were all there on Sunday night. I never deleted them off my phone. Any help to get these photos back would be much appreciated.

It does find the others. I worked out that the photographer has put another copy of every photo as a hidden file so this is why Lightroom was not importing it as it didn't see it.

@Akash Sharma I will try get some screen shots on this as they are on a different computer. When importing I have used the add option not copy or copy as dng. I have not used anything to rename the files. These were provided by the wedding photographer and copied off a USB stick and saved onto an internal hard drive. I tried copying the folder to another location and importing from the other location but that didnt work either it still doesnt register all the files in the folder. Thanks Brendon

I am running Adobe Lightroom Classic version 7.5 on Windows 7 Home Premium. When I try to import a folder with photos in it the amount of photos that Lightroom recognises is far less. One folder has 545 JPG's in it yet Lightroom only recognises 271 photos. I have unchecked the "Don't import suspected duplicates" but this doesnt change anything. This also happens when trying to import raw CR2 files as well. I have also tried to create a new catalog and this still does not change it. Any thoughts would be much appreciated as these are my wedding photos.

When trying to install Photoshop I receive the error 160 code. I have checked the registry permissions to ensure full access but it still doesn't work. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
