-- Realized that I needed to uninstall not only PPro CS6 but Encore and other elements. Now the Applications Manager recognizes that PPro CS6 is gone. Re downloaded and re installing now.

Hello. I was receiving a long error while trying to open up PPro CS6. I thought I would unistall just PPro CS6 and now it appears to be gone and now I am not able to reinstall it. My Application Manager shows the "Adobe Premier Pro CS6 Family" to be "up to date". I need to reinstall PPro CS6. Can anyone help me? I have already tried logging into my Cloud account and downloading the PPro CS6 app again but nothing happens.

FIGURED IT OUT!!!! I noticed this when I tried opening my AI file in Photoshop for giggles. It did not open since I did not save a PDF along with my AI file. So I just did a save as on my original AI project and checked the box that creates a PDF at the same time and now importing the AI file into After Effects; I can see all my layers. Does anyone know why saving a pdf with your file makes a difference? Is this something that is common place practice with saving AI files?

Ok. I did a screen grab with a new AI project that only has three layers. I got one grab before Layer release and one after layer release. I made sure that I am in RGB mode from the FILE pull down and I am in RGB mode. I tested this AI file with another After Effects project that imported a Photoshop file containing 332 layers (Which all layers imported from that). After Effects is still just importing one AI file that shows nothing. after release: Does it matter if I created a AI project with the Film Video template with 1920 x 1080 dimensions? Color Mode is still RGB. I have tried just making a new AI file with basic RBG setup and still same issue. I have not tried this on a different computer.

I have made a new AI file and it is RGB. I am still not able to bring in the layers to After Effects. How do I confirm my artboard is RGB?

I have shape layers but each shape layer has a path. I have made sure after my design was complete to take my layers out of the typical "Layer 1" and placed them in the "root".

I have made sure that I was selecting import as Comp or Comp + Layers. My AI file is all layers. I made sure that they are released. I even pasted my work into a different AI file altogether and I am still not getting the layers to import. Really frustrating.

I am trying to do a simple thing and that is import an AI file that contains layers. When I import into After Effects I get the new Comp and I see just one AI file icon. I can't figure out why my layers are not coming in. Anyone got some ideas?

Hello world. I am new to After Effects but I have been working on lynda.com tutorials and have done some creative filters for some text. I am frustrated with the typical 3D appearance and I am wanting to learn how to put depth onto my text to really make it look 3D. Can anyone direct me somewhere or perhaps provide any helpful information. Thanks in advance.

I just tested your comment. I have not stop(); actions. This issue with this is that I am using scenes for different portions of the program. I need to have something that directs the play head back to frame 1 so it does not continue into the next scene. I did this back in the day with Swish Max but now in flash it seems to be difficult to do. Any ideas of a work around?

I have a pulse action happening on some items on the stage. I am letting the play head go for 45 frames then on the 45th frame I just want the play head to go back to frame 1 thus giving the repeating action of pulse. The event would be the appearance of frame (45) I guess.

I am trying to do a simple script and I am having a huge brain fart. when I get to frame 45 I want the play head to go back to frame 1. I have the below code but I am getting errors. Can someone point my head in the right direction? <><><> onFrame (45) { this.gotoAndPlay(1); } <><><> One error says that "is expecting semi-colon before or after first brace..... second possible error is "call to possible undefined method onFrame.... ... I have downloaded the latest from your link to a laptop with a smaple swf file and the swf still does not know what to use to play it. I have tried going to the folder option then selecting the file type swf and telling it what program to use but I can not locate the player I downloaded from the link you provided. When I play the swf on the machine I created the swf from (has Adobe CS5.5 suite installed) the swf icon appears and it opens right up by itself without the use of a browser. All most there...

I have not downloaded from your link yet but would it allow me to simply double click my swf file and have it play automaticaly? If not then I am just going to export out from my Flash project an exe file instead.

Hello world. I am needing to have five desktops able to play a swf file locally. Not using a browser. I can't even remember if this is possible. I am wondering if I only have to create an exe file instead since the program will be played on a dumbed down desktop. Thanks in advance.
