Adobe XD

Adobe XD version 34 was a huge release for me. I work as a product designer on a large, enterprise application, and the improved capabilties for nested components and component states has revolutionized my workflow. However, I've noticed that XD's performance has absolutely tanked since then. Files take forever to open, it can take up to a minute to copy and paste a single component or artboard, and published prototypes load slowly, much to the frustration of myself and my stakeholders. I do, admittedly, use a lot of nested components and components states in my work. I have to in order to truly optimize my designs. Adobe in theory made that possible. But I now have to constantly question whether or not to make something a component, or add another state I need, because I know it's going to affect the performance. If you're going to release a feature, do it right. Optimize around the fact that, if you make it possible, people WILL scale a feature to meet their needs. I l

Hi Fellow XD users, I am using Adobe XD for prototyping at work. I am new at this company. i'm the first designer of any kind in a Developer environment. I need to convince them to use prototyping on projects. I'm working on a project were i need to showcase a new feature on a website. It is all vector and has an accordion with selectable buttons which triggers alerts when an button is selected or not. The functions are pretty simple but I guess because of the different states of the accordion the preview has performance issues. it is really slow. It gets even worst when i share a link to the client and they say it doesnt work and it takes so long to load. I have removed functionality so that it can rather be explaing because the preview is too slow when interacting with the prototype. I am having a meeting today and they going to ask me why this is happening and I have no answer.    My question is why is this happening and if it can't handle this then how will it handle

Hi, I had all my hover states set up and working but as soon as I duplicated the artboard they no longer work. Please could I ask for some advice on how to get them working again without deleting the extra artboards? Many thanks

Bonjour, j'ai un petit problème avec le plugin Anima, je l'ai ajouté à mon projet pour pouvoir intégrer des liens externes vers mes réseaux qui fonctionnent parfaitement lorsque je fais un preview in browser sauf que mes états de survol de mes autres composants ne marchent plus du tout dans Anima, et dans la preview de adobe xd les états de survol fonctionnent mais pas les liens externes du coup.Merci d'avanceBonne journée ^^

I am facing this XD Sharing link issue which takes more time to load, sometimes even my data pack is draining so fast but still the link loads. So please share me the resolve method to solve this issue. Thanks

Hello, I was having all those Rosetta issues, so I deleted my adobe files and then reinstalled etc... Adobe CC working not but the linking of XD files to the Creative Cloud is not functioning. I can work on local files but not save to the cloud or edit existing cloud files or see them from XD.

Hi! Does anyone know why when I'm trying to export an artboard in SVG, all the text that is center align doesn't stay aligned? Here's an example 

I've been facing this 'editing text' problem for a long time. When I open and use Xd, it works fine for a few minutes. Then it starts doing this thing where I can't edit any text. Like artboard title, or elements/components name in the layers section, texts that I use in the artboard. I again and again have to go to home and open the file that I'm using so I can edit any text for only one time. This one is really affecting my work speed. And I've been facing it for like 2-3 months. Second is, Xd always forgets the fonts I've downloaded and installed in my pc. There's this one font I installed. Now everyday, before opening the file in Xd, I always have to delete and install the font in my pc. And when I close Xd, it happens again. Third is, I thought about using a map in one of my project. I watched the Howard Pinsky's video of using scroll groups. I used 'Horizontal-Vertical scroll' for the map thing. And it didn't work. Worked fine in the Howard's video but not in mine. I fo

Hi!I can't export selected components I created after updating XD to 39.0.12.12The only export option that works is the batch option, which exports all components, but not the ones created after updating XD.My workaround is to export selected artboards to svg, and get the elements I need from there, which is time-consuming to say the least.Also, zoom doesn't work reliably using the Ctrl + spacebar, nor with Ctrl + "scroll". Something seems to get stuck, and I can mostly get it working again by CTRL + "+" or CTRL + "-" but it does hinder work. I uninstalled, installed a previous version, and reinstalled the latest version to no avail. I browsed earlier threads about similar issues, but it seems to be a recurring problem in different versions. Please advise.

Hello. The trouble happened: in the document, all the fonts moved at least 2 pixels higher than what I did (I don't know what the reason is - I just opened the cloud file). except for fonts in components. It is 1 - 2 days to correct manually. How can this be fixed? Привет. Hi, i'm having some issues when i create the link for developers. I have created all font and color styles in my XD file. So each text is connected to a style (i can see the connection in XD file, with right click on the text and "reveal in..."), but when i create the link, some of them are not recognized as a style anymore, even if, in some cases, they are all part of a same style. Some are connected to a specific font name style, but some others (of the same style, or different ones) are not defined anymore. It appear the generic name given by the font (ex. Montserrat Regular 18pt).How can I solve this problem? 

Updated to adobe xd 39.0.12.12System: macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Eye dropper tool is disabled, not working since updating XD.  

With the gradual increase of files, there are more and more components in my project. When I modify the main component, it will be very stuck, such as changing the size of an icon.

Hello, I know that to change the program language Help > Language > (Select Language) and restart XD. That works fine—I'm able to work in the language that I need. The problem I'm having is that after I've done my work and Quit XD. When I open the program again it is not saving my selected language. So, I need to go through the process of selecting the language and restart.... Any ideas on how I can fix this? XD 39.0.12.12*MacBook ProMacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (Japanese System)*I run XD in English but need to keep my MacOS in Japanese. Hi everyone, I recently moved from Figma and I'm having huge trouble using linked components libraries.Whenever I adjust something on the master component and update it in my file it resets the component to its original state which is a pain in the ass. For example, if I have a rounded button and change the radius or change its state it will delete the label I've overwritten. Is there a way to avoid this???

I'm trying to view my files in the Adobe XD mobile app (iOS) but it's saying that I don't have any files up in the cloud even though I've saved my file in XD in the "Creative Cloud Files." Upon checking the website, it isn't in my Cloud Documents but it is in my Synced Files. How do I transfer them to Cloud Documents so I can view them in my phone?As you can see, the Creative Cloud app tells me that all files are up to date but....My files ARE in the "Synced Files" tab though.

I have objects on layout with specific spacing between them.The objects have states that change their size. While on the preview on the iPhone (prototype), when their size changes, for some reason the layout doesn't adjust and the objects go over each other. Any ideas?

I'm running XD 35.0.12 on macOS 10.15.7 (19H15).  The issue is happening to a text box with very long copy. Below a certain point, the text disappears when selected. The cursor can be used to highlight parts of the text in the visible portion, but not the invisible portion. The arrow keys allow the cursor to move, but hilighting the invisible text becomes impossible. Here's a screen recording:

Hi, I am building a prototype for a story telling application, where each board has one sentence.  Looking for advice on how to add an effect such that the sentence appears word-by-word gradually. This is quite common in PowerPoint presentations, but not sure how to replicate it here.  Any advice will be appreciated.  Thanks!Pranav
