Adobe XD

My team and I are having trouble with adobe comments. Both in XD and in Creative Cloud. All was working well this morning, and suddenly all previous comments are no longer visible and commenting is disabled. 

Anyone know the latest upon XD projects for savign work, as accessing across teams, avoiding everyone having files separately... and that deadren not be able to update share link

When copy& pasting content (e.g. a component / picture ...) from one artboard to another, it is not displayed in the top layer (even if it is shown correctly in the layer view). When I use the 3D-Transformation tool to resize the content, I can manage to get the content to the top layer again.

Hi everyone, I am a real newbie to Xd so I apologize in advance for what I suspect is a very trivial question. I'm creating a web page for my research group and I have made a home page that has a text banner and a series of buttons that take you to various parts of areas of the website. In the center of the page, I have a B&W image. In fact, there are 5 such images that I would like to have rotated through when one views the home page. This seems like it should be easy but I can't seem to get a simple solution. I duplicated the home page 5 times and put a different image in each one. That worked but of course, I am swapping the entire home page out which is pretty clumsy, moreover, the various links from the buttons to other pages then have to be made for each home page. I suspect there is a straightforward simple way to animate the images when inside the home page but I just can't quite figure it out. The auto animate feature is really fun in XD, but as I google about for how to turn those into viable code, I’m not finding any resources on how to do it. So what is Adobe’s intended workflow in giving us auto animate? The Specs/Variables information is essentially only about placement, so what is Adobe’s development vision for these interactions? Somehow export items as HTML5? SVG? Animated gifs or APNGs? HTML with <path> and <animate> classes..? With what tools, apps, workflows? Surely the answer is not “that’s not XD’s problem, because it’s just a prototyping tool.” What would be the point of giving us a tool that can’t be developed – or at least, can’t be developed efficiently and with basic standards or workflows? That would lead to increased project costs, frustrated interactions between designers and developers, and unhappy clients – surely not what Adobe wants for us.  So again, what's Adobe's anticipated workflow here? Either way, what are

When I try and send certain Adobe XD file through Outlook it reports possible jar-related malware.  I have done extensive tests to try and narrow down the issue but have come to an impasse and need help from Adobe.   When I try and paste the offending document into this community board it results in: "The attachment's 210223 test6.xd content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."  Therefore @Adobe, please reach out to me for a sample file that shows this issue. 1. My team is having some trouble when it comes to formatting text for different localisations, particularly wrt quotation marks. I.e. someone running their Mac OS with German language settings will be unable to type “English” quotation marks, and „vice versa.“ It's obviously not feasible to set and re-set the entire OS every time in order to avoid this, and often both sets of quotes are needed in the same XD document. Is there any way to keep quotation marks from auto re-formatting to match OS language?

Hello, I am unable to create any new projects in Adobe XD. Neither Command+N or File > New work - nothing launches at all (no new XD windows or error messages). Launching XD shows a blank screen for Home, as one of the attached screenshots demonstrates. I have got lots of colours, graphics fonts etc. in my document assets but can't seem to turn the document assets into the library neither by exporting or copying and pasting. Is it possible at all?   <The title was renamed by moderator>

XD exports my pages in the wrong order even though it is arranged correctly. I have the latest version running on the latest MacOS. Can anyone shed light on this? Thank you.

Hello, I am new to XD and am trying to prototype an app design I made but I can't figure out how to do what I want to do. So I have a new post page and it says "write caption" and I want to click on that and a keyboard slide up. When the keyboars slides up I want the page header to change from "new post" and "Post" to "caption" and "ok", but it doesn't look like I can have two overlays at the same time. Is there another way to create this look? 

Hello Adobe Team,We are UX/UI team and have been using Adobe XD in our project, so whenever we share the Development Link to the respective team it takes a longer time for the dev team to convert each of the font pixels to vh, vw, rem, em units, and hence it affects our project timeline. So it would be more time-saving if Adobe can provide any plugins to get vh, vw, rem, em values in XD.Thanks

If I add a smaller rectangle in front of the big rectangle. It sometimes doesn't show specs of smaller rectangle (front one) in Adobe XD Development Link.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Would it be possible to do this, similar to InDesign? Is there a plugin out there perhaps? For clarity, I would like to be able to have certain text set as a variable. Possibly this could be denoted with text having curly brackets around it, IE {VALUE}. Then from there I would like to import a spreadsheet handed off to me by another team, which would populate those empty values. Does this exist in any way, or is there a workaround that considers a digital workflow?  I am a student, and all of my projects on Adobe XD were deleted. When I opened the app, I was asked to sign in and after I did, none of my work was there. I have no idea what prompted the sign in because that had never happened before. I couldn't open the files from my Mac because I made the mistake of not saving them on my computer nor on Creative Cloud, and so my work was nowhere to be found. Someone please help me.

Hi,Recently I am working on converting my components library into dark mode, and now I have 2 XD files:- file A: contains all components in light mode- file B: duplicated from file A, but all components are changed to dark mode styles The problem came when I want to put the components together. It seems that XD recognized the components from A & B as the same one, even they're from different files. For example, I moved the button-L component from A to a new file C, then I want to move the button-L component from B to C, but the component moved in will be changed to the style in file A. This bothered me a lot, so I want to know if there are some way to avoid this?
