I know we have a wide range of tools represented in the forums. I use Animate and publish too Desktop, IOS, and Android. Although I read the Harman email, it's hard for me to tell to what degree Animate will be supported.Can you (Harman) shed some light on this?

Hi,Appreciate all the effort of the Adobe Air team but what is next? I might have missed it but is there a roadmap available? Is investment still guaranteed for the Air platform?With several commercial projects reliant on it, and being very loyal to Air and it's great performance (it really does smash all other cross-platform options), I'd really appreciate an update.Thanks guys!

Hi I'm updating a simple interactive book app which is now crashing after a few hours use.when I run it in the flash IDE (well it's Animate) and trace out Number( System.totalMemory / 1024 / 1024 ) it stays steady round 10 meg.When I build the installer file using the latest air for desktop this starts at 10meg and rises an extra 30 meg every hour.Even though there's just some text onscreen and an Event.ENTER_FRAME running the trace.Am I being daft ? Did something change in Air in the past two years that means it slowly leaks like a tap ? Any help VERY APPRECIATED thanks,KingBaggot

Hello all Adobe Air lovers ...I have a simple case (not a real case but it is just to make me an idea about Adobe Air licensing)A software company with 5 developpers, developping only one application with Adobe Air captive runtime for windowsThis company have 20 customers with 10 users each of this application (200 users total)This company sell this application as a service 3 000 € a year by user (total : 3 000 x 10 users x 20 customers = 600 000 € each year)This company have decided to use Adobe Air SDK 32 and will never upgrade itIs anybody can help me about how this company is supposed to pay to Adobe for using SDK and the captive runtime of Air ?Thank you for your help ...Pierre

Hi folks,I've got a project that has previously compiled absolutely fine to a Windows desktop exe, and is now crashing.If I'm in Animate and hit ctrl-Enter, it runs perfectly in the Adobe AIR Debug Launcher.It appears that it's crashing at any attempt to even declare a script with  flash.filesystem:import flash.filesystem.*;import flash.net.SharedObject;import flash.utils.ByteArray;This is with AIR 32.0.0.116.Has anyone experienced a similar issue?Cheers,Minty

Good day,Has anyone experienced any performance issues when using the Adobe Air Runtime (Version 32) on a Mac?After recently upgrading to this version of the runtime, our application has experienced a significant performance decline.Specifically when using the URLRequest Object from within the application. They seem to be experiencing a noticeable delay before a response is returned regardless of having a high speed Internet connection.We are testing on MacOS Mojave 10.14.5.  However when rolling back to version 29, all is lightning fast again.Just wondering if anyone else noticed the same problem.Thanks.

Hello,I tried the latest Air SDK for Windows Beta 32.0.0.103 and uploaded our ipa build with Application Loader. Application loader accepted the build without warnings, however I received an error email containing this description:Dear Developer, We identified one or more issues with a recent delivery for your app, "XXX". Please correct the following issues, then upload again.  Invalid architectures - This app has invalid architecture, and may have been built with invalid build settings or incompatible tools. Try rebuilding the app with the latest Xcode version. If you are using third party development tools, contact the provider. Best regards,The App Store TeamWe are currently using a minimum iOS version of 8.0 in our application.xml. Did the minimum iOS version increase with the latest Air 32.0.0.103? I just left the office so please let me know in case anyone has seen the same error and been able to solve it. Otherwise I will update this thread tomorrow with my findings.Kind r

Is there a way to test the functionality of Adobe Air, following a successful installation? For example, there are many websites to which one can browse in order to verify the functionality of Adobe Flash. I'm simply looking for a website or command/function to validate the successful installation and functionality of Adobe Air. Please advise. Thank you.

I am testing an AIR 32 application in the debugger on Windows. This is a Stage3D/Starling app.I set the application framerate in the document class:stage.frameRate = 60;However, using the Starling stats window, I can see that the application is only running at 30fps. If I set the framerate to 10, the application does run at 10fps, but anything higher than 30 and it caps at 30fps.I used to be able to run apps at 60fps in the debugger. Is this a bug, or did Adobe change the specifications?

It appears that in XCODE 9.3 the iOS simulator now has the ability to run multiple versions of the simulator on the screen at the same time. However, when i export, the build packaging in Flash Builder 4.7 only shows 3 choices: Iphone, Ipad, and iphone retina.In my case i am wanting to see how it will look on all the different iphone models, but when i turn on in the hardware menu of the simulator other iphone models it doesn't copy over the launchable icon, so i can only see my program running in the iphone 6 simulator. How do we coerce the simulator to launch a particular form of the hardware. I see previous comments about exporting a path name, but this is Flash Builder, i used to be able to reboot the simulator as a different machine, but now when you pick a new hardware emulation it doesn't do what i would expect.

We have a certificate issue that happens only in a few circumstances. We work with an in-house extension that makes requests on  our remote server through https. Remote server send back images url to load them on http (none secure url). That server uses the cloudflare service to host content and certificate is managed by cloudflare too. The certificate has been created on cloudflare, issued by them and also it is a dedicated certificate. In pretty rare circumstances we have a pop up when we load images that says the certificate is unverified. Tge pop up is displayed by adobe air. Only the problem is that the issued certificate is not the one from cloudflare but from akamai? We don't use akamai at all. We talked to cloudflare and they have no clue on what's happening. Like I said, this bug happens pretty rarely. We don't even know how to reproduce it. Is there any chance that StageWebView will evolve liketo support full web technology like a normal browser?especially SVG and HTML5 would be a must. Or maybelet the developer choose to integrate its own web engine like blink, gecko or other with someproperty. I would really enjoy to develop my own browser with AIR.

My android app is modified using app-cloner. Is there a way to read in runtime if the certificate has been replaced?

I'm assuming this has to do with launch images.I'm using the latest beta (32). I'm setting things for portrait (iphone). And I have launch images for all sizes of iphones in the directory from which I'm publishing. It should be full screen, but it's cropping down to the smallest default iphone image.Any idea why?

Hi,I am trying to upload my eighteenth app, but Apple rejected because of copycats. I can't understand this situation. I just upload a new app to Apple and it is on sale. But The other app is'nt accepted. I changed my icons, but it didn't work. It says;"Your app or its metadata appears to contain misleading content.Specifically, your app includes content that resembles Terakki Vakfı without the necessary authorization.Please see attached screenshot for details."What can I do?

I know this is a known issue with AIR 28 - but due to the fact this is preventing us from upgrading - I'm hoping for an indication as to when this might be addressed?

Hi everyone,I have one app designed for ios & android with same code base, but the app behavior is different on ios & android. when I click the home button on ios, the app auto stop runinng as expected, but on android platform, the app still running with sound. Do I need manually stop all sound & timer when app become deactive? Is there any shortcut solution for this issue? Thanks

I am using the latest AIR SDK 32 (version 32.0.0.116) and  iPhone SDK 12.Also add the launch image with resolution of 2732 X 2048 and named as Default-Portrait@2x.png, Default-Landscape@2x.png.But can’t get the fullscreen on the new iPad Pro3.After published the app on the iPad, I saw black border around the app. Especially the home indicator is outside the app.
