Animate

Based on several responses I've recieved from the community I've took another look at HTML5 Canvas.  For several reasons that I won't go into now, I still don't believe it will serve my needs for my full lessons.  However, there is one use where it could be very valuable.  With my program I'm composing a series of small excerpt files that users will be able to download.  It would be more user friendly if they could download these as one file.  HTML Canvas publishes three files for each lesson, an HTML, JS and png.  I can incorporate the JS into the HTML, but that still leaves the png.  When I open the png all I see is the text.  I attempted to break the text up into vector graphics.  This worked for larger text such as titles and labels, but not for the smaller explanatory text.  That smaller text still appears in the png.  I don't really understand why this eliminates the large text from the png but not the smaller.  Can anyo

Hey, so I did some good animations in Adobe animate, and on my pc the colors look fine. But when dragging it to my phone, the colors are messed up. I heard its because of Color space. But how do I fix those Color Space issues in Adobe Animate? I need help asap

So when I try to import my audio to the library, I get this error sign. I tried it with a random .wav file and got the same error sign. Does anybody know what to do to fix this? I'm still pretty new to adobe animate and taught myself to use it so I don't know how to do a lot of things. screenshots:  Views 

Anime does not accept adding me to the sound, and I learned that anime does not accept the sound unless it is just use 16bit , also 441khz , but I do not know how to make the sound like that. Please help

When I try to place a button on my HTML5 canvas that activates a sound (mp3) it works fine on desktops and android devices but not on my IOS device (Iphone IOS 14.2).  When I use this code in the first frame:this.aBtn.addEventListener("click",clicked); function clicked(){ createjs.Sound.play("sound"); }After creating a button with the instance name aBtn and added a file.mp3 to the library with a linkage name sound I don't hear anything on my IOS device (with Safari en firefox) . It does work great on my desktop and android phone. I tried many different approaches but without success. (I' using Adobe Animate 21.0) Can somebody point me toward a solution?  Tnx in adv!  

Hello there. I am new to animating. I have this cartoon I want to add Actionscript to. I have Wav file that sound very clear and clean when I open it. But when I Import it into animate the quality drops massively. Ive gone into publish settings and tried changing it form speech, to raw, and having it be 44 kHz. I have no Idea how it sounds so bad and its very loud, Theirs also some background static or something which isnt in the orginal sound file. Is their a way to make the qulity higher or am I just importing it worng, Does animate not like wav files or something because I know MP3 doesnt work.

Hey, so I never found out why when i used the "convert lines to fill" deletes random lines. Now I Have noticed another bug. I'm trying to erase a splotch of color from an object, and of course erase does nothing until i hit ctrl+B "break apart" now when I use break apart it causes all the color to dissapear from images. What the heck is wrong with this program and why can I never get a straight answer?

My students' files keep crashing. I've had 3 different kids show me their work and then the next day Animate cannot open the file because it says it is corrupted. This is always towards the end of their projects. We've been able to get some stuff back through the recover files but they are still losing work. We are working with Windows 10. Thanks!

Hi! I am new with animte thing (I started today) so I paint around bot one issuese I saw small crosshair but when I start painting it willchanges to big paint WHAT I MEAN :  I want to see like a normal right size preview of the paint cursor while I am not painting...but when I paint the paint becames so big and wrong because it messes up my work so how can I make the paint cursor change to right size. HELP!

I tried exporting my video that I made but it crashes my computer and have black screen for 15 mins and shutdown...  how I stop that? and the video have not been saved.. Hello,  (using adobe animate)How do I change the alpha of one movieclip by clicking on another movieclip ?One movieclip is a button that is supposed to change the other movieclip's transparency. How do I write the code so each time when I click the button, the other movieclip's tranparency changes from 100 to 50, then from 50 to 0, and then back again to 50, then to 100? Please help me as soon as possible, thank you so much 

Some years ago I used the MilkmanGames Admob ANE and it was very easy to integrate it to my apps and make banners and interstitials work. Then they stopped updating their ANEs. Two years ago I began to use the Admob ANE from Distriqt. It was a little harder for me to make it work because it required more coding and I don’t know much about code. But I was able to keep showing banners and interstitials on my apps with their Adverts ANE. Then; in the recent months it got really complicated for me to integrate the updated Admob ANE from Distriqt to my apps. There is much more code required and the samples given in their support pages are not completely correct. The bug basically moves your symbol out of position and there's no way to set it back. I'm rotating a flower and it's not dead centre, I've tested by adding key frames, everytime I add a Keyframe it slightly nudges the symbol off centre.

I make JS library for export all elements from fla file library (FlashLib), and than build elements using PIXI.js.But i have pdoblem with understanding how to get data for shape objects.I have arrays on vertexes, edjes and conturs. But can't understand how to get data what i can expord as JSON.I can export simple shapes (like rectandles). But i dont understand mechanics how to get data for another shapes. Like drawed by brush or shapes with holes or another shapes.Maybe somewere exist documentation about this.And what is HalfEdge obgect? 🙂

Is it possible to create different mouse cursor objects on separate frames within one scene? I want to have at least 3 different objects to serve as the mouse cursor depending on what is happening in the frame. I want to swap out the "greendot1" for different artwork and I found that swapping out the instance name alone does not work with the active buttons in the movieclip. Can I do this? I'm trying to make a button where as you rollover all other animation pauses, and a pop oup box appears from the button... then once rolled off, the animation restarts. Sounds quite simple but it's just not working for me. It seems that the script to stop the animation also stops the button working and the pop up appearing. Please help.

So I was drawing a few lines (fluid brush) in adobe animate in a big file. I realized my lines were really wonky and were all jagged. When I used the free transform tool and pressed the up and down button to move my object, it was wonky and moved in the opposite direction. I restarted my computer multiple times, but it didn't help. This time I opened up a fresh document. I used the free transform tool and the fluid brush. The lines worked, and the free transform tool worked. Now, I went to my big document and tested it out. The brush was still wonky and the free transform tool worked. How do I fix this?

I have recently purchased a new MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.15. Having freshly installed Creative Cloud on this Mac, and because of the increased security in Catalina, I am often asked to allow access to certain folders as applications try to access them for the first time. Today, I ran Animate for the first time to do a simple task - export an existing file as a mp4 movie. Animate had not previously been granted access to any folders as this was the first time I'd opened on this Mac since install. The result of my export attempt was for Animate to entirely delete the contents of my Desktop folder with no warning, and all while it supposedly had no access to that folder!  Steps to reproduce the issue are below (warning - make sure you have a backup of your files) and I've attached a video of it happening. I am exporting video - to an mov file and I get this error message - I've tried exporting to desktop, shortest file name ever and still get this error and tested with colleague and she gets the same error. Other fla files don't seem to do this. Problem started in Animate 2020 - which was making files disappear! off my SSD. I then reverted back to Animate 2019 which has been better up until exporting video. I am not creating  SWF movie even so I don't even know why the error message is saying this. Can you help

Hello,I am experiencing a very difficult bug with Adobe Animate 2021 Build 37179 and macOS Big Sur (11.0.1). I cannot use my Style or Width Dropdowns because they aren't displaying properly.
