Animate

A bit of context, I have used animate for years, since 2017, It worked fine and perfect on my old PC and I could make animations. Recently I have bought a new PC, better than the old one, after 1 week of using animate, yesterday it presented a problem, from oit of nowhere it started lagging my PC to the point that it didnt worked anymore, restarted it opened it again, and does the same, now it doesnt even open, it just starts consuming ram like crazy and it doesnt do nothing. I dont want answers like "get more ram" because my other PC had less RAM and worked fine. Specs: i5-8250U4 GB RamUHD 620

I've completed an animated video at 24 FPS but realised that it's rather slow. The quality is fine, the story just drags out a little so I need to quicken the pace.  I could remove frames to shorten the duration but I don't want to alter the music I made, which is designed to hit certain beats in the video.  I tried accelerating the pace using fast-forward features in After Effects and Premiere but some of the animations look a bit jittery as a result.  Is there any way the video speed can be increased while maintaining its smoothness?  Thanks in advance  

Hi there,  After putting a couple of hours into learning Adobe Animate I am now pretty sure that it will not be able to create what I want.   I am trying to create an interactive instilation accross four screens. A selection is made on screen #1 (refer to the below image) which will play a video on the other three screens.  Can Adobe Animate work on four screens?

Hello. I'm new to animate and I made an animation with audio which I rendered and saved as an mp4. Once I opened the file to view it, the animation sped up towards the end and the audio was cut off. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to properly render/export my animation so this won't happen again?

Hello, I'm trying to use Open Sans Condensed as a Google Web Font on a dynamic text field, but it's missing from the Google Web Fonts dialog box. I can use Open Sans, but Open Sans Condensed is not available: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Open+Sans+Condensed. I need to use both Open Sans and Open Sans Condensed with dynamic text fields for dynamic data in my project. The only ways I can use Open Sans Condensed are if it's a static text field (can't use dynamic data), or a non-web font dynamic text field (the font is replaced by something else if it's not on the user's device). Is there a way to add Open Sans Condensed to the Google Web Fonts library in Animate? Or, if I were to manually add it to the index.html file, is there a way to tell certain dynamic text fields to use it? Thank you!

New to Animate. I use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop. I make videos about hairstyling and would like to include simple animations over static images in them. I kind of have a start but my Problem is thatI want to make lines originating higher up on the round object that WRAP AROUND the object like hair would on the head as they fall. Any help in the right direction would be appreciatedTIA  

I'm using Animate 2020, in Windows 10. I have two 27" monitors.I have 2 projects open in Animate CC - one on each monitor.The thing is - the timeline, and all other panels, like the Properties panel, only show up on one of the monitors. Whenever I change focus to the project on my other monitor, the context of what the timeline panel, and properties panel show changes to reflect my other project, but it's still on the other monitor. This is clearly meant as a "feature", though I'm not sure who would want something so insanely annoying and confusing. Is there a way to turn this off, so that each of my monitors has their own set of panels, that reflects that project? Thanks

But now I need multiple things to happen on 1 button click as follows:Go to the next frame and play next 20 framesThen go to the main timeline and go to a frame and playI'm using a Movie Clip and this is the code I have right now, but I can only get it to do one or the other, it's ignoring the first action.var _this = this;_this.btn_emotional_reduced.on('click', function(){_this.gotoAndPlay('currentFrame + 1');_this.parent.gotoAndPlay('test');}); Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello everybody.I have finally managed to embed my interactive image on a wordpress website... phew...The problem is that while I managed to make it responsive, what I cannot fix is the increasing vertical white spacing above and below my Animate image when I reduce the width of the page...I was wondering if any of you have any clue how to solve it.Thanks in advance 🙂

So I have Adobe Animate, but I want to buy a drawing tablet monitor to get more serious with it. I've looked at a few options, and since I'm on a budget I figured I'd go for a BOSTO 16HD.My question now is, do anyone know, if it's compatible with Animate? I know it's compatible with other Adobe programs but I'm not sure about this.

使い始めたばかりの初心者です。質問失礼いたします。 Adobe Animateを使用する際、ブラシツールのスムージングの値を０にしているにもかかわらず、補正がかかってしまいます。自分と全く同じ環境でAnimateを使用している方は、スムージングを0にすると補正が一切かからず、ジャビジャビとした目の荒い、細かいドットのようなブラシが使用できており、今後仕事でそのようなブラシを使用しなければならず大変困っております。改善策などありますでしょうか。 理想は、スムージングの補正を一切かけず、ベクターではなくビットマップ化されたブラシでジャギジャギの線の描画です。 一度アンインストールして、再度インストールしても治らず、設定などで改善できるのであれば、教えていただきたく存じます。 以下スペックですMac OS ： Mojave 10.14.6Animate ： ver19.2.1 よろしくお願いいたします。 

First, I tried to import a png file I had exported from illustrator and I put it onto my timeline in animate cc, but when I tried to erase/edit it didn't make any changes. In more detail, I would drag the eraser tool across my imported file and it would show the white lines being made, but when they disapeared the image was not affected. I am sure I was on the selected layer, so that is not the problem, I don't think. I also tried many other file formats to see if I could edit them. I tried png, svg, eps, ai, and jpg. But everytime I would try to erase it wouldn't let me do it. I also tried 'saving as' instead of exporting, but it didn't make a difference. I cleared up all the warnings when importing the file also. I just don't understand why I cannot edit the image that I have imported. For more clarification, the image I imported was made in illustrator and I drew it with the brush and pencil tools, it also was converted to live paint. Come on Adobe Animate team. Its really crappy to have the updates just make things worse. Here's a few problems I'm experiencing: Vector graphics fidelity seems to be having issues when copying + pasting. Seems like new points are being added to vectors or that there is some sort of snapping that is turned on by default. Cannot resize items to something less than an inch in a document that's units are inches. Converting thick Lines to Fills on a complex shape is chaotic.  Filters added to large bitmaps corrupts the GPU/image and the exporting process somehow. Filters/Blendmode effects on timelines can become "sticky" and sometimes am unable to remove a Blendmode from a symbol. Sometimes I have to open up a new document and just start over. Random freezes and exitting. I can't tell you how many files named RECOVER_xxx.fla I have on my hard drive. Seems to be when you do anything that involves doing a move or a resize of an object on a timeline. I

Hello, I have a problem that I can't solve. When I create a file, the area where I need to draw is in the background(green, visible in the photo), and in the foreground is a white area where the drawn objects are not displayed.please help me how to remove the white area or how to fix it.

HiI have a massive .fla file I have resumed working on that has been through mullions of version and has thousands of lines of code associated with it and 2000+ items in the library. Recently using Aniate CC 20.0.2 it works fine ofr a while and then at a certain point I can click on something on the stage or in a move clip and totally  the wrong name shows up in the inspector. I have been saving quitting animate and restarting it - which gets it working ok again - but it is now happening more and more often. Anyone recognise this bahviour and any advice appreciated. Fear it is a corrupted .fla file. The .fla file has moved through many versions of Animate. Should I start a new .fla file and import the library into it?

is there a way i can change the rotation of the transform box while keeping the object in the same place so that when i stretch one side it streches the bodt the way it is supposed too becuase at the momnet when i strech the top of the box it skews the bodyThanks

Is there a way to disable the new startscreen in Animate CC 2019?

I can't change the keyboard shortcuts in the latest version of Animate without it freezing. I go to edit-> keyboard shortcuts and the window doesn't come up and Animate just freezes. This makes the program totally useless to me...yay!
