Animate

Im a newbie to Adobe animate and have faced a problem that when I use free transformation tool and alter the size of any shape (height of width) both sides of the shape will expand when im only dragging one side.I haven't been able to find anyhting online about how to alter this if anyone knows how to change this and could tell me it would be appreciated thanks!!!

So hey everyone! For the last three weeks I  put my heart and soul into animating a DIY video for a schoolproject. The deadline is near and my file won't render. I've tried a lot of things and I read a lot of the same problems here but nothing helped (or I didn't understand the complicated solutions since English is not my first language). I've tried to render my file on different computers in diff versions of the program, but everytime when it's saving to the SWF file the whole program crashes at 61%. I don't get any errors, codes or whatsoever. I've tried breaking up the file into smaller files, I've removed the video that I was rotoscoping and I have removed all of the symbols that I don't use. The file's 49 MB. It really depends on this file because other projects do render so I think something in my file is causing the problem but I don't know how to find it. I would really appreciate any help!

Probably a very basic question but I am flumoxed!I have around 10 fla files, made in HTML5 canvas which I want to bring up in Premier to stitck them all together - adding fades etc.I can't seem to bring anything into Premier - either the files arn't complete or some sound is missing.   Any advice here gratefully recieved....

I recently switched to a Cintiq 22HD and the pressure sensitivity works in every application except in Animate CC. I tried switching to older versions of animate and it still doesn't work. I know how to turn the pressure sensitivity option on and off and it has no effect. When I turn the option on, my brush cursor switches to a circle with a cross in the center like it's supposed to but it still doesnt recognize any pressure sensitivity. Super frustrating. If theres a setting I'm missing on my computer I'm all ears.

my tablet pen wont work in Animate. I'll draw with my mouse and it'll work fine, but when I try with my pen it just erases the lines I made with my mouse.I have a Huion 1060 plus.

Hello! I¨m actually downloading Toon Boom now cause i had a trouble I wasn´t able to resolve in Animate 😞 I made my first sketch on Animate and it was awesome. Later i tried to work again on it but the tablet wasn´t working the same.. I don´t know what i did but the line/draw is displazed.. I don´t know if the problem is the tablet wich works ok in other softwares or if i activated something or whatever... i did the research in a lot forums but... now i´m just downloading Harmony and let´s see..

I rendered this scene a dozent of times but for some reason the blur I put on the background won't render.Instead the background stays sharp. I have more scenes with blur in the background and the only difference ist the camera tool. I am creating a character, but when I parent/child layers , the child layer will not foloow.  Also, when I set an anchor point, it auto resets back to the center.  This is an issue only when I start a character from scratch.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Does anyone know it the "April" update is out or not, as it is said to have a supposed fix to the problem with tablets where the brush would lag behind the pen, and to make up for the lag, it'd just draw a straight line to where your pen now is from the beginning. I'd really like to know as the fact that it is called an "April" update is really confusing, especially considering the "December" update has now only just come out at the end of April.Is it that hard Adobe to fix a problem that dates back to 2013?

Hello,Full disclosure, I know almost nothing about computers. I have a 10 year old with autism that really wants adobe animate. We are buying her a new ipad and I was wondering if this program will be supported properly with an ipad or if she needs something more like a macbook? I don't want to cause her frustration with things lagging. Thank you for any help!

Hey guys! I have just started using Animate CC and I wanted to do a simple animation that looks like a sketch being drawn onto paper. I want to use one of the artsy brushes like in or chalk and making the lines appear as if it captured me drawing them. Then I want to make them swiggle a little bit ( I found some videos for that) but I didn't find a fitting tutorial to animate them like said to begin with, maybe I don't know the right key words to search properly, can you help me? Thank you!

I am unable to have anything work inside of animate. Once I select a canvas size, I am unable to draw or select tools, or change the color of fill. It does not say that that the program is not responding within task manager, so I am unsure of the issue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even installing an older version of the program. Any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Animate community. I have recently completyed a project using a motion tween in Adobe Animate.I created the animation.I exported using Export>Export Video/Media... This created a swf file.I opened the swf file in Media Encoder and converted it to MP4. Looks great!PROBLEM: I sent the mp4 to my phone for posting.A portion of the graphic that starts the animation shows in the upper left cornerbefore pressing the play button. I press play and the graphic jumps into place andthen starts to animate, as planned. Why is the graphic not starting to animate in theposition that was intended? I did use the 3d Rotation Tool in AA to make the animation.NOTE: When viewing the mp4 on my computer, all looks fine.Thanks for all help.Matt

Hello. I'm installing Adobe Animate CC and I keep getting this Error Code: P44! I tried following all the instructions, even from here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-logs.html#errorP44 and it still gives me the same error over and over again! Any ideas for a Solution?

I'm having to go to each keyframe and select the symbol then go into the frame picker and change each frame manually. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a faster way to do this? Maybe an extension even?

Hello all, I have an animation i have animations within movie clips, buttons, etc. When I publish the html file it does not take the interactivity with it. it just seems to be a flat image. But when I test it in Animate CC it has all of its interactivity. i don't understand, is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi I want to create some little animations for my friend to add to his Android Apps that hes creating. He says he uses lottie at the moment along with Android Studio. I just want to create some little tiny animations like stars and then basically give him this in JSON format so he can add it to his game. I have tried using AIR for Android and downloaded the SDK and when I publish I get swf, xml, apk. The APK is obviously the compiled version, the SWF doesnt work and I dont think compatible anyway and the XML file is more or less blank. Can anybody help me export an animation in Adobe animate for use as a JSON file or at least something he can work with? p.s the publish preview works fine, he said the APK file works fine, but I need to create animations for him without compiling as an APK as I want to create assests rather than the application itself. Hi folks,  Having a bit of trouble with the bone tool. I'm probably missing something simple.  I have some real footage of a ladybird, and I want to give it some cartoon arms. Each arm is made of 3 movie clips (upper, lower and hand) which I have connected with the bone tool.  I want to first keyframe throughout the video and make sure the arm joint follows / tracks the ladybird. So i create a keyframe, move the arm to the correct place, next keyframe, move the arm, etc...  Once the arm appears to move with the ladybird, I want to start animating the arm itself... the problem, now I have a keyframe on every frame of the bone rig, so I can't create any tweens of the actual flexing and kinetics of the arm.  Is there a way to do the tracking of the whole arm first in a way that I can still go back and animate the positions of the arm afterwards?

Hi all. After the first launch of the program, I tried to draw a circle, but I still did not understand why it did not appear in the working window. And at the same time, I saw what I was painting in a miniature frame window. Maybe someone faced such a problem? I will be glad to your advice.

Does anyone have an idea of how to make multiple choice quetsions in Animate CC html5 canvas? I am planning to include an animation on the right side of every quetsion. I have done it in AC3 but unable to do it in Animate cc html5. Thank you.

I'm creating a HTML 5 canvas.I've got dynamic text. Is there a way to animate the scale so it starts smalls and gets bigger?I am presuming this needs to be a symbol so it can tween from small to large. But the text needs to be dynamic...Thanks in advance.
