Adobe Firefly Community Gallery: Submission Guidelines
Submission Guidelines: Adobe Firefly Community Gallery
What to share in the Firefly Community Gallery & Firefly Challenges/ Contests:
The Community Gallery is a space to celebrate original, high-craft work made with Adobe Firefly. These guidelines help your submission shine — and get approved and featured faster. Every submission is reviewed before it appears publicly. By submitting, you agree to the Official Rules, the Adobe Generative AI User Guidelines, and the Adobe Terms of Use, which govern what can be shared.
What we love to see
The strongest submissions are original, polished, and unmistakably yours. Aim for:
-
Original, authentic work — created by you with Adobe Firefly, with genuine creative intent.
-
On-theme — a clear, creative response to the challenge prompt.
-
High craft & detail — thoughtful composition, refined detail, and a polished finish.
-
A distinctive point of view — a unique style or idea that adds something fresh to the gallery.
-
Clean technical quality — sharp resolution and a finished look.
Prompt and Titles
Prompt is part of every entry — it’s one of the things judges look at, and it helps the community learn from your work.
Writing a strong prompt
-
Write in English, in at least one full sentence.
-
Include subject · mood · style · context (for video, also describe motion, camera movement, and atmosphere).
-
Be descriptive and specific — vague single-word or one-phrase prompts with no style or context won’t cut it.
-
Make each entry meaningfully distinct — don’t submit prompts that produce near-identical results.
-
Check your spelling.
-
Never reference a named artist, brand, or product in your prompt or title (no “in the style of …”).
Titles
-
Use lowercase only — no capital letters.
-
Be descriptive — no nondescript titles like “image_1” or “clip_final.”
-
Don’t repeat the same title across multiple files.
Example prompts
These show the level of detail to aim for:
-
Fashion Lab (Image) · A hyper-realistic editorial runway photograph of a fashion model wearing an avant-garde gown made of [Natural Material — e.g, iridescent beetle wings, fluid water crystals] fused with [Synthetic Element — e.g, chrome liquid metal, neon fiber-optics]. Voluminous and sculptural silhouette, high-fashion styling, shot on a 35mm lens, dramatic studio lighting, Vogue editorial style, detailed textile textures.”
-
Illustration (image) · Charming stylized characters. Large heads, big expressive eyes, small, delicate features. Done in the playful and minimalist style of modern children’s book illustration. Diffused outlines, misty, dream-like quality. Colors are warm and subdued, illustrating a cheerful demeanor, with a touch of quirkiness. Show me a cute young kid with a balloon in the shape of a big fractal-decoration-covered fish, standing on a little planet floating in a sky painted with stars, suns, and planets like ones you’d see in a nursery.
-
3D (image) · Create a whimsical 3D illustration of a hovering glazed futuristic (no logos, no letters) pair of headphones. Incorporate punk elements to evoke an alternative atmosphere, with punk-Japanese lighting and colour. Include iridescent spikes and details that add to the fantasy punk feel. The composition should showcase thin-film textures, high-gloss finishes, and a playful, dramatic, holographic look.
-
Fashion (video) · visionary fashion designer stands in a luminous creative studio surrounded by floating fabrics. As the camera slowly circles around them, translucent textiles weave through the air. Colours evolve across the fabrics, holographic patterns emerge and dissolve, and sketches become finished couture pieces before returning to flowing ribbons of creativity. Soft volumetric sunlight, luxury editorial aesthetic, inspiring creative process, premium fashion storytelling, cinematic camera movement, aspirational mood, extraordinary materials, elegant transformation.
-
Product (video) · glossy glazed donuts gently fall from above creating an elegant tower. Thick icing slowly drips down the sides while tiny sprinkles bounce across the surface. Cinematic product shot, luxury dessert commercial, soft studio lighting, glossy reflections, dreamy pastel palette, elegant motion.
Text in your artwork
-
If your piece includes text, keep it legible and correctly spelled — avoid garbled, jumbled, or nonsensical lettering.
-
Let the visual lead; use text sparingly and only when it adds to the piece.
-
Don’t include profanity, slurs, or offensive words or symbols in any text.
Quality — review every file before you submit
Content with visible quality issues won’t be accepted, so check each entry closely before submitting.
-
Anatomy & accuracy — people, animals, and objects should look anatomically correct. Check hands, fingers, feet, eyes, and faces.
-
No artifacts — free of glitches, distortions, blur, noise, flickering, jello/wobble effects, unnatural motion, or frame inconsistencies.
-
No hallucinations — no extra limbs, merged objects, floating forms, or physically impossible compositions.
-
Finished & original — polished, on-theme, and a point of view that stands out.
Respect intellectual property & others’ rights
Only share the work you created and have the right to share. Please don’t include:
-
Third-party brand names, logos, or trademarks — in your final piece or in any reference images you used.
-
Copyrighted characters, artworks, or protected designs you don’t own or have permission to use.
-
References featuring real people (images/ mentions) — including public figures and celebrities.
-
Any reference images, first frames, or last frames unless you own the rights or have properly licensed the image. Do not use movie stills as reference images, first frames or last frames.
-
Prompts that name a specific artist, celebrity, public figure, or brand (for example, “in the style of [artist]”).
Keep it original & authentic
-
Submit your own distinct creations — please don’t copy others’ prompts or re-submit work that’s already in the gallery.
-
Favor quality over quantity; avoid flooding the gallery with many near-identical variations.
What’s not allowed
To keep the gallery welcoming for everyone, submissions (and the prompts behind them) must not contain:
-
Sexual content or nudity — including sexually suggestive imagery, lingerie/underwear, shirtless or semi-clothed figures, and kissing.
-
Anything that endangers or sexualizes minors — zero tolerance.
-
Violence or gore — graphic injury, cruelty, no weapons of any kind or content that glorifies violence.
-
Self-harm — content depicting or encouraging suicide, self-injury, or eating disorders.
-
Hate or harassment — content that attacks or demeans people based on who they are.
-
Regulated or dangerous goods — weapons and firearms, drugs or drug use, and alcohol, smoking, or tobacco.
-
Profanity or offensive gestures.
-
Illegal, deceptive, or harmful content, or anyone’s private or personal information.
-
Currency, banknotes or coins; national flags, maps or symbols of state; political content, religious figures, imagery or iconography of any kind; gambling imagery.
Keep everything suitable for audiences of all ages and in good taste.
How review & featuring works
-
Every submission is reviewed before it appears in the Community Gallery.
-
Submissions that don’t meet these guidelines may not be published, and Adobe may remove content at its discretion.
-
Original, high-craft, on-theme work has the best chance of being approved — and featured.
