Bringing generative AI to video with Adobe Firefly Video Model

Hello community!

We’re excited to share progress on the all-new Firefly Video Model, which will soon offer Text-to-Video and image-to-video capabilities across ‪@AdobeCreativeCloud‬, ‪@AdobeDigMktg‬, and @AdobeExpress workflows.

The Firefly Video Model generates dynamic video that editors can use to quickly ideate their creative vision, fill gaps in their timeline, and add new elements to existing footage. It is designed to be commercially safe and will be available in beta later this year.

    Hello @Chad2832512260oo,

I am sorry you received this error. Unfortunately, Firefly video generation is not currently available on EDU Enterprise plans. That is why you received the error.

Adobe charges for all apps access and then charges to use this part of the app. What a scam.

Over $700 paid yearly and I got 2 measly attempts to use Firefly. Shame on you Adobe, your greed and disdain are showing. Management is truly out of touch with its client base, many of whom barely can afford $700 a year. And now you want more for new applications? Do some soul searching Adobe.

This is really cool!  Are the generations that we use the same as the ones we already have in our plan?  Or do we need a special type?  I ask because I am teacher, I have lots of credits left but its tellimg me I'm all done with trial points.  Contact my admin.  Please advise.  I really wanna dive into this AI, but I seem to run into the snag all the time.

Are you kidding? Two runs to do a beta test and that's it. Not enough info to even give back a response!

I made the leap and subscribed to the Pro Plan. I have several questions:
Is it capable of 30 or 60 fps video?
Is it capable of clips longer than 5 seconds?
Am I using credits when I try creating images and videos, but don't download them?
Is there anywhere in my portal that shows me how many credits I am allotted, and how many I have used?
My apologies if these questions have been asked before. I searched and couldn't find these answers.

    Hello @CarlinPhoto,

Is it capable of 30 or 60 fps video?

At this time, it is 24 fps only.

Is it capable of clips longer than 5 seconds?

No, but you can create longer clips by taking the last frame of a video clip and use it as the starting keyframe on a new generation, and then merge the videos afterwards.

Am I using credits when I try creating images and videos, but don't download them?

Yes. Credits are deducted at generation time.

Is there anywhere in my portal that shows me how many credits I am allotted, and how many I have used?

On the Firefly page, if you click on your avatar in the upper right corner, you can see how many credits you have left:

The promo video is amazing.  I tried twice before it ask me to pay and I'm not impressed with the results.  I tried two different subjects with simple prompts.  The subjects themselves were acceptable, but the distortions and logic were unusable.  The person had the face like a devil that was changing as the moved.  The front door of the home was in the middle of a room with the hole for the front door far behind it.  The other one did not keep straight lines on a home "drone" shot.  I love Firefly, but the images are still unable to place simple words like "happy birthday" or a name in an image yet.

I was excited to try the video beta, but 2 trys is nothing when they are both unusable.  I could not justify paying for more.
