Ever have a project you almost finished?
A file you closed… but never forgot?

This Valentine’s Day, we’re playing matchmaker with your unfinished ideas.

The Challenge: Revisit an old creative project you once abandoned and ask yourself: “What if?”
What if you’d taken it just a little further? What if it had found its perfect ending?
Be playful, nostalgic, curious, or romantic with your story.

The prompt I used: Cute Valentine’s Day illustration of two cartoon characters exchanging love letters, cozy café setting, warm lighting, heart decorations everywhere, soft hand-drawn style, playful and cheerful mood.

What to Submit:

Your results: Generations on "Missed connections"
Share the text prompt and the features you used for your creation.

Prompt: A couple standing at the tropical cruise ship terminal, surrounded by beach toys, sadly watching as their cruise ship sails away from them. The couple should be looking at the ship. The ship should be sailing away from shore.

I tried several iterations of this prompt, but could not get the ship to be positioned as sailing AWAY from shore.

I wrapped this one up just yesterday. I created the top image about three years ago using Midjourney. I loved the concept, but that didn’t change the fact that it was AI slop. Gemini 3 in Firefly to the rescue. I upscaled the image first, then took individual sections (the bodice, sleeves, face, hair, birds, etc.), and used specific prompts or general requests for improvements to each. Probably a grand total of 40 to 50 edits (not counting results that were rejected). It was put together as a patchwork of sorts, piecing together the asset as I originally envisioned it in my head.
