The next evolution of Nano Banana is here: Faster. More intelligent. Built for creators.

We’re thrilled to announce Google AI’s latest image model in Firefly Gemini 3.1 (w/ Nano Banana 2). Bringing Gemini Flash intelligence to visual generation, this release delivers high-speed iteration with stronger consistency, sharper detail, and more refined realism. Nano Banana 2 produces noticeably stronger results than Nano Banana — without compromising performance — so you can elevate quality while keeping your workflows fast and responsive.

Built as a true all-around workhorse, Nano Banana 2 combines advanced world knowledge with precise instruction following, helping you render specific subjects more accurately, generate clean infographics, and create images with legible, localized text. Enhanced subject consistency lets you maintain characters and objects across scenes, while flexible, production-ready specs up to 4K ensure your visuals stay sharp anywhere they appear.

With integrated Google Image Search and multi-image reference uploads, you can bring real-world context directly into your workflow and maintain cohesive styles across campaigns or visual series.

Try the new Nano Banana 2 today with unlimited generations on eligible paid plans through March 16th.

When we upload AI-generated products to Adobe Stock, does it matter which platform they were created on? Does it make a difference to Adobe administrators whether the image was created with Firefly or Nano Banana? In this context, should we choose Firefly as a contributor, which you describe as "commercially more secure"?

    Hi FarAwaySoClose!

Yes, the specific app or AI model used to generate an image does matter—but mainly from a licensing and transparency perspective.
When AI‑generated images are submitted to stock platforms, what’s most important is that the tool used allows commercial use and redistribution, and that the content is clearly disclosed as AI‑generated. Stock platforms don’t evaluate images based on the popularity of a model, but on whether the creator has the proper rights and follows disclosure guidelines.
As long as the image is created using a tool that permits commercial licensing, is accurately labeled as AI‑generated, and does not include real people, brands, copyrighted styles, or misleading content, it is generally acceptable for use on stock platforms.
Transparency and compliance help ensure both creators and customers can use the content confidently and safely. Please check these articles: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/user-guide.html
