Prompt to Brand #1 - Build a Brand That Shouldn't Exist
Welcome to Prompt to Brand, a new four-part series. One idea, four Creative Cloud apps, one brand, built end to end over the next few weeks:
- Part 1 (this week): Adobe Express - give it a name and a face.
- Part 2: Photoshop - put it in a real photo.
- Part 3: Illustrator - get it onto real merch.
- Part 4: Premiere - cut its launch reel.
You don't need to do all four to join in. Show up whenever suits you. But if you follow the whole arc, you'll walk away with a small, real-looking campaign for a brand that exists nowhere but here.
One house rule for the whole series: a prompt on its own doesn't count.
THE CHALLENGE: NAME SOMETHING THAT SHOULDN'T EXIST
Invent a brand. The more delightfully unlikely the business, the better: a coffee roaster run by wolves, a gym for ghosts, a festival for a made-up holiday. Prefer something closer to real life? A band, a café, or your actual side project all work too.
Give it a name, then bring it to life with Adobe Express.
WHAT TO INCLUDE
- A brand name.
- A logo or wordmark - a mascot, an icon, or just the name styled well. Simple is fine.
- 2 to 3 brand colors saved so you can reuse them all month.
- One piece of collateral built from it: a menu, a flyer, or a social post, whichever fits the brand.
HERE'S MINE

HOW TO TAKE PART
Reply to this thread with:
- Your logo and your one piece of collateral.
- A line on your process - the brand, the workflow, one decision you made. This is genuinely the best part to read, so don't skip it.
Note: Keep your logo and colors handy. You'll need them again in Part 2.
🗓 Reply by Monday, 7 September, to be featured in the round-up before Part 2 goes live.
WHAT'S NEXT
Part 2: Put Your Brand in the Wild, live Wednesday, 9 September. We're taking this week's brand into Photoshop and making it look like it exists somewhere: on a shopfront, a billboard, or a shelf.
