Export 3D objects from Illustrator to other apps
Starting with Illustrator 27.0 release, you can now export 3D objects to GLTF and USD file formats. Illustrator also supports exporting 3D objects as OBJ files along with colors.
Note:3D features can be resource intensive and may slow your application. We recommend checking out these best practices to optimize CPU usage when working with 3D in Illustrator.
Highlights:
- Exported 3D objects and 3D objects with materials and graphics can be opened and edited in 3D applications like Adobe Substance 3D Stager and other third-party apps.
- When you export multiple objects, you can view each object as an independent modifiable object.
