Enhanced Contextual Task Bar

The dynamic and improved Contextual Task Bar brings the most relevant actions directly to your workspace based on the object or tool you've selected, enabling you to achieve your creative goals more quickly. This feature helps you explore various creative possibilities from a blank canvas and discover exciting workflows tailored to your selected object, whether it’s a path, shape, text, image, or a combination of these. The Contextual Task Bar is also available for basic shape tools (Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Star), Artboard, and Type tools.

*Notice* the 28.7.1 update causes the overprint preview to stop working properly. It cause something to not work right with transparancys going back to 28.6 resolved it

hey thanks for forcing us to update to this version without giving us the option to stay on the previous version. I can't even opem Illustrator. No I don't want more AI junk shoved down my throat on the crappy contexual task bar all it's gonna do is clutter up space.

Nobody forced you to upgrade. Just utrn off the automatic update.

oh sure, I can decline the update all I want but it will, eventually, force itself to update. Trust me, I've denied it as long as I could then one day I open up creative cloud because a coworker sent me something and oops it updated. What am I supposed to do? never close illustrator? Read the rest of the thread. I don't wanna hear it.

Awesome news! The enhanced Contextual Task Bar sounds like a great productivity booster, and it's fantastic to see expanded language support in Retype. Adobe’s attention to user feedback really shows in these updates. Can’t wait to try the new version.
