InDesign 21.6 is here: Better rendering, smarter shortcuts + key fixes
Hey everyone! InDesign 21.6 is now available! 🎉
This release brings more consistent document rendering, easier Keyboard Shortcuts search, and fixes for several issues reported by the InDesign community.

Bug Fixes - You reported it. We fixed it 🛠️
Your feedback directly helps improve InDesign. Here are some of the issues fixed in 21.6:
- Fixed a crash when dismissing the “objects would leave the pasteboard” alert in Flex Layout.
- Shift + function-key shortcuts now work correctly in Keyboard Shortcuts search.
- Esc and Shift + Esc now work correctly in Keyboard Shortcuts search.
- Flex Layout keyboard navigation now stops at locked child elements and displays an “Object Locked” message.
- Elements can now be dragged out of a Flex Layout container correctly.
- Effects such as Drop Shadow remain correctly positioned when objects are transformed.
- On macOS, Links panel columns no longer shrink when resized or reordered.
- InCopy, snippet, ICML, and IDML exports now preserve the width of the first table column.
