Hi All,

We noticed some issues with the Publish Online service, which has been fixed and the details are as mentioned below:-

"Due to an issue in a backend service, documents published using InDesign Publish Online from 2023-11-07 09:50 UTC to 2023-11-08 15:09 UTC were not uploaded completely.

If you have published a new document or updated an existing document during this timeframe, you are recommended to re-publish that document to ensure it is published successfully.

All other documents published prior to and after this timeframe are not impacted."

If you are still having trouble with the publish online service, then please feel free to add a comment to this thread, and we will assist you in fixing the issue.

Regards,
Vivek

    Hi All,

We regret to hear about the difficulties you've been experiencing. We want to update you that a significant issue related to "newly published documents, where objects (such as images) were missing" has been resolved.

If you're still encountering this problem, please provide details herehttps://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/publish-online-loading-errors/td-p/14219669We'll escalate it to the product team for further investigation.

For any other issues unrelated to the mentioned one, kindly create a new post. We'll look into it and, if necessary, share it with the product team.

    Thanks,

    Harshika

    Hello,
    Thank you for your reply.

The malfunction concerns all public shared links (without authentication), not just newly published documents but also old links that are no longer accessible without identification.
It's not a problem of a missing image either. It doesn't work with a document without an image either.

    Thank you

    Hi there!
I'm still having issues. I've published, republished, refreshed the link, saved as another file, updated inDesign, saved another file again, published for reviews publically, and it still asks for a log in from my client (or when I'm testing from incognito.)

Is this happening because of the new updates?
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It has been working just fine up until recently.
