Note: This feature was released with Premiere Pro v24.4. If you've got questions or comments about it, please post to the main Premiere Pro support forum

In Adobe Premiere Pro 24.4 beta, users will be able to leverage the benefits of color management for MXF files utilizing HEVC Intra and Long GOP codecs. The addition of color management for MXF HEVC files promises a more efficient, consistent, and delightful video editing experience for users working with MXF formats from Sony, Canon, and Panasonic cameras.

What is color managed?

Color managed means that Premiere Pro reads the color tags in the file metadata and accurately converts your video clips to the sequence color space. If the color spaces of the file and sequence are the same, the Premiere Pro passes the colors through to the sequence without any conversion.
