New Team Projects Feature - In BETA Now! Media Relink Workflow Improvements We are pleased to announce the availability of this new feature as part of our BETA program. We look forward to hearing what you think about these improvements and appreciate your time trying them out. This feature is available TODAY in the daily BETA builds of Premiere Pro. Problem Statement and Intent One of the most common questions we receive from customers on the forums is related to relinking media in Premiere Pro with Team Projects. Many customers follow the same relink workflow in Team Projects as they have done successfully before in stand-alone Premiere Pro (a reasonable assumption). But this can lead to trouble because with Team Projects, the normal “relink” command for Premiere Pro is treated as a change to the project (also referred to as an EDIT) that then needs to be SHARED to other collaborators. To continue using Team Projects in Premiere Pro without disruption, please upgrade to Premiere Pro version 24.6.1 or later, by November 1, 2025. Due to recent changes in our cloud services, older versions are no longer compatible with key Team Projects functionality. If you or your collaborators are using a version earlier than 24.6.1, you may experience the following issues: Pending invitations will not appear in the Manage Team Projects dialog. Collaborators will not appear in the header bar. You will be unable to invite or remove collaborators from your Team Projects. To avoid these issues, upgrade via the Creative Cloud Desktop app to version 24.6.1 or higher. Once updated, your pending invites and full collaborator functionality will be restored. Thank you for keeping your tools up to date so you can keep collaborating seamlessly.

Problem Statement and Intent Large Team Projects can take a long time to load. Editors want to get to creating as soon as possible. To help deliver on that need we are introducing Progressive Project Loading for Team Projects in Premiere Pro. The Solution Previously, the EDIT Workspace would not display itself until ALL ASSETS in the Project had been loaded (or attempted to be loaded in the case of media that required relinking). Based on the size of the project this can take a long time. A key improvement with our new solution is to display the EDIT Workspace almost immediately. Instead of waiting for all assets to load, we do a quick pass to collect just the list of all as
