Team Projects

Me and my team have been working with team files for a month or so, all seems to be working perfectly.Until today (01-24-25) all of my Team Project disappeard from my list. Althought there's the .tpr file stored in my local appdatait seems I can't open them for some reason. It's quite annoying since there was a delivery going on L_LAnything that can be fixed ASAP? Thanks

A severe bug has hampererd our multi editor workflow. When two or more users are within a Team Project, all of a sudden:The audio solo buttons in the timeline become inoperable (Clicking solo highlights the button yellow, but it has no effect on the audio. Mute buttons stay green when cliking the solo button again).Editors cannot adjust clip gain. (The window opens and you can type in a value but there is no effect in the timeline).The "Audio Channels" selection is grayed out.Please keep in mind, the sequence is not read only. Each editor has full acess to make edits and maniupulate the squence in other ways. Duplicating the sequence or copying and pasting the contents of the sequence to a new one doesn't work fix this. Saving the Team project as a new one doesn't work. Saving as a local project and then creating a new project doesn't work. I’m as assistant editor responsible for setting up projects for the editors. We’re working on a show with 4 editors at once so we decided to try out Teams. We tested it first and it felt promising. Now we’re a day away from pic lock and Teams is failing us. It is going very slow, showing sequences as being edited that are not actually being edited, not allowing audio edits, and taking a very long time to export sequences. The most consistent advice I’ve seen is to slim down the project file, but I don’t see a way to even gage how large the file it. The posts in this community are all about a year or more old and I’m wondering if I’ve really stepped in it setting my team up with Teams and then not being able to provide adequate support. We’ve had to dump sequences into standalone projects to get around sync issues and then have duplicate media. Remove duplicates has no effect.  What I’m really looking for is advice for a reasonable workflow for professional editors to continue to use Te

This seems to have been introduced in the latest version of Premiere. If a Premiere Pro Team Project is open for a long enough time, saving will literally stop working. The program never tells you that it's happening or brings attention to that fact. Autosaves will simply stop being made, the publish & update buttons will quietly gray out and pressing Ctrl + S will do nothing. This has happened to me 3 times in 2 different computers. In 2 of those times, I lost an entire day's of work. But on the 3rd time, I was able to catch it early and prevent another disaster.  My computers are M1 and M4 Macbooks. My only guess here is that it could be something to do with the project staying open while the computer is asleep overnight. Maybe it never picks up the connection with Adobe when you go back and causes all o these silent errors to happen.

I had to close an Adobe Account (with lots of Team Projects in the Cloud ) and open a new account. I lost all the Team Projects in the cloud. But I have all the heavy  .tpr files in my computer. How can I restore the Team Projects locally?

I've twice had this specific issue now with a Premiere Pro Teams Project where for some reason the sequence I'm working on deletes itself, I can't undo this action (if I click on 'Publish' I can see the delete asset action). Both times I've not accidently clicked 'delete' on the sequence, it just seems to vanish and there are no 'undo's' to fix this. Yesterday this happened with I was working on a comp in After Effects and went back to Premiere to review my AE work in the timeline. When I access my Team Project Versions in the Premiere Media Browser to try and rescue the sequence, I roll back to before the sequence was deleted, but when I right click 'import' nothing happens no matter how many times I try to do this. The only way I can rescue the sequence is by creating a new duplicate Team Project from the auto-save and then archiving the original project, which is not ideal given I then have to let collaborators know. Hi everyone!Since the major 2025 Update I'm dealing with the issue of Team Projects randomly dissapearing. I've created a TP, invited my colleague, and every now and then the TP just wont show up in his list when opening Premiere. I then have to remove him and invite him again. Happened with two TPs so far. Any ideas or similar experiences?

Hi everyone,we are working with a Premiere Pro Team Project in a small team. Each of us has the media stored locally on our own machine (same files, but in different local locations).I already raised that question in the general forum but didnt get an answer.The problem we’re running into: Whenever one team member relinks media, Premiere updates the absolute file path in the Team Project. As soon as the project syncs, that new local path is applied on the other team members machines as well, causing media to go offline there. This ends up constantly breaking the project for someone else. I really don’t get how that can happen. Is there a solution to this?

Hello,I've been encountering this issue where Team Projects puts me in "view only" mode for all of the sequences in my Team Project even though I am the only editor online working at that time and all of the changes from my collaborators and myself are up to date and published. I also receive this even when there is another editor online, but they are working on a different sequence from me. I know Premiere locks sequences with "view only" modes so that two editors don't create conflicts within the same sequence, but it comes up for me even though my collaborators are working on a completely different sequence from me. It seems like Premiere is booting me from editing the sequence because I am editing it...  ._. Very frustrating because I can't do any work! I am running Premiere v25.1 and Mac Sequoia 15.1.1. Anyone else having this issue? Thank you!!

I'm running into a strange issue on Premiere 25.0.0 where a synced multicam clip is displaying as (View only) in the timeline and (Read-Only) in the source window, even though it is up to date in the project panel. I'm trying to correct the transcription in the source but changes don't get saved.I can confirm that the multicam clip is being used in a sequence as described in the below related post. I've been hitting publish all day on my premiere team project. but only in the past 20 mins I have hit "publish" and I was met with this pop up that says "the application is currently saving your version to team projects. this operation must be completed before publish can occur". and it shows a blue bar that has gone all the way to the right. and this window is just sitting here and wont progress. my internet connection is fine.  when i go to edit menu , team projects,  covert team project (to save a local copy), i get an almost identical pop up that doesnt go away. so how am i supposed to save if it wont save to the cloud or locally? so i go to media browser and Right-clicked on the Team Project and choose "Make New Team Project from Version..."but shortly thereafter i was met with a pop up dialogue that said synchronization failure. the team project could not be synchronized due to a network error. Please try to open the Team project again.How am i supposed to save my prem

To Adobe Community Managers & Support Staff:I am in a critical "deadlock" situation regarding my Adobe Profile migration and I need high-level intervention. I have done the technical research, and I know exactly what the problem is, but I am unable to execute the solution because my Plan Administrator (a Reseller) is refusing to assist further.The Situation: I was added to a Creative Cloud for Teams plan. This created the standard "Two-Profile" architecture on my account:Personal Profile: Holds all my original data, Cloud Docs, and Team Projects.Business Profile: Holds the active commercial license. The Problem: When I first joined, I inadvertently declined the automated "Asset Migration" prompt. Consequently, my assets are stuck in the Personal Profile (which has no license), and my Business Profile (which has the license) is empty. I cannot simply manually move these files because I rely on Team Projects and complex Libraries. I lost a day of work while working on a Teams Project. Premiere Pro seems to have issues to store the data locally, so I cannot publish it. I closed Premiere Pro and then everything was gone.It's stuck: "Die Anwendung speichert zurzeit Ihre Version auf Team Projects. This is so frustrating. I try to make Teams Projects work for us for years, but I constantly encounter issues like this one.

I'm working on a rather large Team Project in 15.4.0 and I noticed after a very long day yesterday that the little "share changes" arrow never appeared. I've made many thousands of changes so I got worried and went to close down the project to force a save. It gets stuck on the Save Team Project dialog at the very beginning of the "Scanning for modified assets" step. I left it here overnight and it never moved. I attemped to convert to a standard project but since it needs to do this save step before that, it gets stuck in the same place. As you can see in the screengrab from the Versions dialogue, it says I am "disconnected from Team Projects" despite having a solid internet connection (which I have also tried resetting) and confirming I'm signed into my account. The Auo-Saves dialogue shows 0 auto-saves despite having not gotten the dreaded "failed to auto-save" error in a couple days. I recently downloaded Premiere Pro 2025 (Ver. 25.5) for a class project. I'm trying to setup a team project so everyone in the editing team could collaborate but I can't because I'm "disconnected from Team Projects."I'm using my university's email since it comes with a free subscription to the adobe cloud btw, in case Team Projects isn't available for those type of subscriptions. 

I updated to Premiere 12. I started a new Team Project for Premiere and wanted to import a former version of a sequence from an "old" Team Project (After I updated that old Team Project to 12 as well) Now I try to import this sequence. It first works but the moment the auto-save tries to save this new project it says: There has been an error ...  Code 1609825704. It is suggested I should close the project and reopen the Project where I can only restart the whole process. I also tried to save an offline version of the sequence and import that = same result. I can though edit and save the "old" team project.

I'm having a problem with Premiere Pro 2024 v 24.6.8 on Windows 10. When I open an existing project I want to convert to a Team project and go to Edit --> Team Project --> Convert Project to Team Project, nothing happens. No dialog boxes, nothing. It's a pretty big project with dozens of bins, sequences, nested sequences, etc., so I wonder if it's just the sheer size?

Hello Adobe Community, I am seeking help in case anyone else has encountered this. I have a project that is 3.9 MB with plenty of sequences and clips for a feature documentary. I tried to convert it to a Team Project: Edit -> Team Projects -> Convert Project to Team Project. I clicked yes to the dialog boxes that popped up and then nothing happened. I was able to convert a small test project that only had a couple of bins and a handful of clips, but not with my big project with lots of sequences. Nothing happens, not even the dialog box asking me to name it.  Thanks in advance for any knowledge about this. Otherwise I think I just have to create a New Team Project and copy clips and sequences over a bin at a time. Warmly,Shirley

Hello!I'm using Team Projects for the first time with a remote co-worker. We are trying to edit at the same time but when she goes on it says "read only" at the top of her timeline and she can't edit while I'm online. How do you fix this? Thank you!

2021 MBP M1 Max, OS 12.7.6Premiere Pro 25.0.0I imported multiple clips (mixed media) from a local project into a Teams project. Every time I open it, there are a few files that wind up at the root level of the Project panel and two clips I have to relink every single time. Publishing does not save any of these changes when I repoen the project.

I worked through the weekend to meet a deadline coming up this week on a team project in Premiere Pro.  Friday afternoon I was able to save and publish my work, but the publish buttom became greyed out Saturday/Sunday.  So Sunday night I tried multiple steps to publish my work and eventually the system crashed and I had to force quit.  I have auto save set to every 5 minutes on this project, but can't seem to find any versions from Sunday saved anywhere.  Can someone help me locate this?  Also, in the media browser when I right click on my project and select team project auto-saves, it shows no version history between Friday and Monday when a coworker jumped into the project and published twenty minutes of their work on the version from Friday I had published.  Lastly, I was going to try to refresh the local .tpr file but can't find that either.  I see the path to the .tpr file in the auto-save section of team settings, but can't locate it in my finde

Hi, when I'm trying to send an invite to a collaborator i get an error.  "The People Graph Service is currently unavailable.  Please close the Edit Collaborators dialogue and try again later." It's just when i click Edit in Team Project Settings.I have this error about 5 days and I 3 times talked with Adobe support. What i did:Restart Premiere.Restart computerInstall older version of PremiereReinstall Premiere.Clear cache from Common Adobe folder This error shows on all of my Team Projects. My collaborator can invite me and it works fine. Thank You
