Multicam Sequence (View only) Bug - Unable to Edit Source Text

I'm running into a strange issue on Premiere 25.0.0 where a synced multicam clip is displaying as (View only) in the timeline and (Read-Only) in the source window, even though it is up to date in the project panel. I'm trying to correct the transcription in the source but changes don't get saved.

I can confirm that the multicam clip is being used in a sequence as described in the below related post. As a user suggested, I restarted my 2021 M1 Max Macbook Pro and that seemed to temporarily remove the view/read only bug, but any changes to the source transcription still would not save and update in the program.

Agreed.  Especially for larger sequences and mix the multicams is odd it mixes it down to stereo and you can only mix the stereo in A1-A2 of the multicam no matter what you multicam looks like.  Very annoying!  Very difficult for our team as well.
