Audio solo buttons not working, cannot set clip gain in Team Project after setting media mapping
A severe bug has hampererd our multi editor workflow. When two or more users are within a Team Project, all of a sudden:
- The audio solo buttons in the timeline become inoperable (Clicking solo highlights the button yellow, but it has no effect on the audio. Mute buttons stay green when cliking the solo button again).
- Editors cannot adjust clip gain. (The window opens and you can type in a value but there is no effect in the timeline).
- The "Audio Channels" selection is grayed out.
Please keep in mind, the sequence is not read only. Each editor has full acess to make edits and maniupulate the squence in other ways. Duplicating the sequence or copying and pasting the contents of the sequence to a new one doesn't work fix this. Saving the Team project as a new one doesn't work. Saving as a local project and then creating a new project doesn't work. We've exhausted our usual fixes for weird Premiere problems.
We're on 25.1.0 and did not have this problem when running Premiere 2024. We've tried the beta to no avail. This happens across machines and Adobe user accounts. We're on a combination of stock M2 Mac Studios and 2020 Intel iMacs (stock meaning- no additional hardware like an audio interface).
After much wasted time between myself and the rest of my team, the only other insight I can provide is that if multiple editors are in the project working from our local server, things are fine. AS SOON as an editor creates a media mapping, the entire project breaks until that user leaves.
Our only solution we have for now is to work in our Team projects with just one editor. It kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?
