Adobe Creative Cloud PowerPoint add-in malfunctioning

Hi!
The CC add-in for PowerPoint used to work fine, but for about a week now, all the photos I import from my libraries are pixelated. The photos I paste from my computer are fine. This only happens when I use the add-in. I have deleted and reinstalled it several times, but it still works badly.

I'd be really grateful for some help. I use it every day and I need it a lot. TY!

I am also experienceing this issue, and have been since February 2025. I commented on and submitted a bug report in February. The plugin for PowerPoint is version 4.6.79.

This feels out of date compared to the CC library extension within the Adobe apps which is version 4.11.87.

I learned today that the problem is not with PowerPoint or the computer. It has to do with Adobe because when I tried it on another computer, I had the same problem.

Hi Patrick, I have the 4.6.79 version

I forgot to mention that I have full access to the library and that these issues did not exist before last month.

I do not encounter any issues downloading photos from the CC libraries to my desktop and pasting them on the PPT. Difficulties arise only when attempting to paste a photo directly from the add-in.

Hi Patrick! I appreciate your help.  Unfortunately, I haven't been able to verify the version because I can not find the "What's new" option. I'm looking in the wrong place?
I deleted the add-in and installed it again, but still not working.

Hey Martha,
Can you verify the version of the libraries panel is 4.6.79 by accessing the context menu and selecting the "What's new?" option. Also, ensure you have use and edit rights for the library in question, as if you have view-only access to the library it will only place a thumbnail version.

Since I am unable to reproduce this on my end on our latest plugin version, I also recommend exporting the image from one of Adobe's point products at 3x, then adding it to the library again and then placing the image. I hope this helps!
