After the update, all of my favorite tools were gone, and I was back to the default.

You want me to criticize and curse you while I pay for the translator? You want the cursing and you want the money, you're greedy as pork. You update the app in anger and then you blow up my taskbar. I'm so angry, I can't stand it. It's a shame that this translator can't contain all my anger. I'm so angry that my head is spinning. I'm so pissed I'm going to throw up. I'm going to install Duolingo, learn a new English swear word every day, and post it here until the developers read it.

Ugh, that sounds super frustrating—losing your favorite tools after an update is the worst, especially when you’ve got everything set up just the way you like it. I’ve definitely been there before. Sometimes, updates reset settings to default, but your preferences might still be stored somewhere. It’s worth checking if the software has a backup or sync feature—some tools quietly save your custom layout or let you restore from an earlier version.

Also, you might be able to roll back to a previous version if it really messed things up, at least until the new version sorts things out.

And hey, I saw your joke about learning English swear words with Duolingo classic! If you’re serious about picking up new words every day (maybe with a few less curse words , some people even use tools like duolingo mod ipa to explore lessons in a more flexible way or unlock content that’s not available in the standard app.
