I'm an Instructional Designer and use these tools ever day. Sometimes I'll close/reopen them several times a day and each time, without fail, these same little "take a tour" popups still come up. No need for a tour here! Please make them go away after the first time the program loads post-update!

As of today :
The pop-ups are stil there! Remove them from all Adobe library panels please.

Same issue. It's extremely annoying. Appeared some time earlier this year.

Yes, I have the same issue. It is only with the Libraries panel. I am using Illustrator 28.7.1 on Mac OS 14.7, fully updated.

All Rich ToolTips have been disabled in my Illustrator Preferences.

But I each time I go to the Libraries Panel – and it is ONLY the Libraries Panel – I get the same introductory pop-up tips telling me to 'Take a Tour'.

It happens each time I open Illustrator and it really is distracting, time-wasting, disruptive of work flow.

If Tool Tips are disabled in Preferences – as mine are – these zombie pop ups ought to be gone from the Libraries Panel.

Please could the Adobe engineers fix the ability to disable this?

Thank you for the information! I have gone ahead and filed an issue with our team for further investigation.

Sure thing -- no slashes in the group or element names as far as I can tell, but there are other symbols and punctuation like parentheses (), hashes #, equals =, and periods .

Thanks for the info! Could you check if the library where you are seeing that popup has a slash / in the element* names anywhere? (One of the possible triggers for this dialog.)
*Edit: Elements, not groups

Here is a screenshot of one of the popups I see as soon as I open the CC libraries panel. I have dismissed this countless times -- on top of not respecting the preferences I set in the app, it can't even remember it's shown me this onboarding tip before.

I also have this problem, across almost every Adobe app. I expect modules within the apps to respect the preferences I set at the app level. I have rich tooltips disabled in both Photoshop and Illustrator preferences, so why am I seeing them every time I open either app?? I hate these, I want one control in the CC app to disable tooltips EVERYWHERE in Adobe apps because it seriously slows down my workflow. Expecting me to configure this setting in multiple places (even though the experiences are all within the same single app) is very silly. I see a lot of similar complaints from users, Adobe needs to address this.

Seeing this in Photoshop v25.12.0, Illustrator v28.7.1, InDesign v19.5, Creative Cloud v6.4.0.361 CC Libraries Synchronizer v4.6.4.2, Libraries v1.0.10.4. I use an M3 MacBook running macOS 14.6.1

Hello, could you provide more information about the feature that is troubling you? A screenshot of the pop up in question is essential, along with information on which Adobe app and version and which CC Libraries version? We can look into this once we have more information. Thank you.
