CC Libraries Freezing

I am having constant issues with my libraries freezing/being unseable across InDesign and Illustrator. I took the time to build out all the brands I work for, but it is frustrating when I can't easily access the library. 

The back button to get back to my other libraries is grayed out in InDesign and in Illustrator it is just stuck on another library. Please advise on how to fix this, it is important to my workflow.
