CC Libraries panel not functional after updating Creative Cloud

Hi,

We have been experiencing an issue with CC Libraries that seems to have coincided with the latest CC Library update (4.5). Our business uses InDesign 2015 (due to the workflow system that we are using), and recently we are not able to use the CC Libraries panel in InDesign - the panel can be displayed, however it is completely blank and isn't functional. Newer versions of InDesign don't appear to be displaying the same issue however - the CC Libraries panel appears ok there (InDesign 2021 and 2022). So issue seems to be limited to 2015.

Some users in the business who are not experiencing this issue have an older version of CC Library installed (likely they haven't updated Creative Cloud recently).

This appears to be a bug introduced with CC Library 4.5 that affects older versions of InDesign. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

UPDATE: Issue appears to be resolved. CC Libraries are fully functional again in InDesign 2015 (and 2017). As suspected, it does appear that the version of Creative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer that had been rolled out was impacting the functionality of CC Libraries in older versions of InDesign.

During troubleshooting, an uninstall and reinstall of Creative Cloud was performed. Interestingly, Creative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer (which I assume is installed with Creative Cloud Desktop) did not install with its latest update (4.5) on this occassion, but rather with the older version we were previously running (3.20.7.4). Subsequent reinstalls of Creative Cloud on a handful of other machines have resulted in the same thing - the older version of CC Library was installed.

I'm not sure if Adobe have pulled the CC Library 4.5 update, or whether there is some sort of detection that takes place now when Creative Cloud is installed to search for older Adobe software and if found, caps CC Library at version 3.20.7.4

Either way, running this version of CC Libraries Synchronizer appears to have resolved the issue.
