Libraries keep freezing in illustrator

For the last week, after a recent update, my libraries keep freezing after about an hour of use or if I go into another program.  The only way I was able to get past this was fully closing the program and reopening again.

I also have a problem with saving my files as well.  We use onedrive in our office.  Now when I try to save my whole computer lags.  If illustrator is not open there is no problem.  The only way around this while I am working is either pausing the sync or quiting onedrive.

Illustrator V 29.5.1

MacBook Pro

Apple M1

16 GB Memory

OS - Sequoia 15.5

I have uninstalled and reinstalled creative cloud, tried to download the specific CC library installer for Mac only for it to tell me the package is corrupt. Tried to follow the steps about exploring package contents, still corrupt. Tried to download the Adobe CC Cleaner for Mac except it does not download. All we want is to easily access our assets, can we have some sort of communication here Adobe? We pay a pretty steep monthly fee for this nonsense.

Hi Adobe Employee,

That link is to a thread from 2024. This issue seems to come from recent adobe updates, which have had a whole slew of issues. As for the solution you posted, I don't use any video editing apps, so there aren't any applications downloaded for me to update to fix my illustrator issues.

Having the same issue that really shouldn't be an issue. Seems like Adobe would do a little better job of testing updates before they push them out. Hopefully they will resolve this soon.

I have this same issue. It's been going on for a few weeks now. Is there any fix?
