White Graphics in Libraries

Something happened a few updates ago that affected the way white graphics appear in libraries. White vector elements used to preview as objects with transparent backgrounds but now white vectors appear as white squares the size of the link. I'm assuming the previews are no longer in png format but jpeg or some other type of file that flattens the image with the canvas.

I work with a lot of white vector logos so this bug has been particularly annoying to my work flow, please go back to how it was before!

Hi maggie,

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce the issue mentioned using assets with transparent backgrounds. We were able to see transparent background on placing them in a file. The graphic was created in photoshop and used in illustrator.

We'd like to investigate your problem further -
Could you please describe more on which type of assets you were observing this behavior, and the applications being used? Also if you could share logs from your machine, this would be very helpful. Here's a link to the Adobe Log Collector Tool:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
This will generate a zip file. It will be something like "AdobeLogs_20221011_081024_xxx.zip"
This might help us to understand the root cause of the problem.

Thank you,
Hari Vallabha
