Thank you, Abambo, for your time to reply. I checked my computer, but as I suspected the file had never downloaded anyway. I recall a pop-up window asking what type of file I wanted to download (at which point I realized a "license" button must've been clicked inadverntly while I was scrolling the page), and I hit the cancel button on that pop-up window. I double checked my downloads folder, etc. and dont' see any copy of the unwanted image anywhere.

There is no confirmation step. When you push licence, that means licence. Only for assets that cost more than one credit, you get asked a confirmation. Many people ignore that too.

There is also no unlicence function. All you can do is to delete the asset from your computers. @Contributor1 from Adobe will chime in and check that, and if your account allows for that, he will return you your credit.
