Adobe Express download stuck at 90%

Hello, I'm trying to download images from Express and the download will quickly progress to 90% and then get stuck and will never download. There's no error message.

These are images created from 'text to image'. I thought it might be due to being out of generative credits but my plan should allow 1000?

I have tried multiple files which all have the same problem and have tried clearing cache and restarting browser.

I am still having this issue in February 2026. A large presentation is still at 90% and no matter what I do, it will not download. I have followed all of the steps in this thread, and I am using the desktop app.

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM AND MY SOLUTION WAS COPY THE FILES YOU WOULD LIKE IN ONE PROJECT INTO A NEW PROJECT, ONE BY ONE AND MAKE SURE THE PROJECT IS NOT OVERLOADED WITH FILES. I THINK THE SYSTEM HAS TROUBLES WHEN THERE ARE TOO MANY LARGE FILES OPEN IN PROJECT.

AFTER I STARTED A NEW PROJECT, I COPIED THE PHOTOS AND IT SAVED IN NO PROBLEM. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU😁

Hey @Claudio37716230vy12, thanks for reaching out!

We need some more info on this issue. Have you tried working with a different browser, in private/incognito browsing mode, or switching to a different internet connection to see if that makes any difference?

Is this issue unique to this project, or does it affect other projects? Is it specific to the file type you're exporting, such as PDF, PNG, JPG, or MP4? Are you willing to share the project with us to investigate it? We'd need edit access to the project as well.

Please share your observations and let us know about it.

Thanks!

Amitej

Suddenly I am unable to download anything that was already existing from my Adobe Express. it gets to 90% then hangs. Left it for a full day and still hung.

- I have tried 3 different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome)

- Deleted cookies and cache

- Disabled all extensions

If I create a new item I can download it but anything that existed before a few days ago will not download. This is a huge problem!

To add, tried the desktop version and it happens there too.

Trying to print a file locally instead of use Zazzle third party vendor and when I download the file as PDF, it gets stuck at 90%. I've gone throug resetting the browser and clearing the cache. This is the file link ->

Hello @sabin_0786. If your PDF download gets stuck at 90% in Adobe Express, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Use a Different Browser: Sometimes, switching to another browser (e.g., Firefox, Edge, or Safari) can bypass browser-specific issues.

  2. Check File Size and Complexity: Large files or those with many design elements can sometimes cause issues. Try simplifying the design to see if it downloads successfully.

  3. Test with Another File: Attempt to download a different file to confirm if the problem is specific to this design or a broader issue.

  4. Disable Browser Extensions: Certain browser extensions can interfere with downloads. Temporarily disable them and retry.

Let us know how it goes! Thanks^CA

I am having the same issue, but only with 1080x1920 files. 1080x1080 download fine for me. No idea what that means...

I cannot download a PDF file that I have put weeks worth of work into. It gets stuck at 90%. I have tried all the solutions presented so far, such as logging out, clearing the cache, etc., but nothing has worked.

I know there was another post about this but it seems to have been forgotten since they believed it was resolved. For me, it has not been resolved.

After some reasearch seems to be a common fault for some time now for people, unbeliavable it hasn't been fixed to be honest. Will give it another go soon but may have to take business elsewhere as i may lose a client now due to this.  Any tips? I've tried new browser etc all the usual suspects with no luck

Every time I've tried to download my project, it gets stuck at 90%. I've left it there for hours, and nothing changes. I've tried in a browser, I've tried on desktop and I've tried clearing my cache and cookies

Hi

@lgroeneveld93

,

Thanks for your patience. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference? Also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies to see if that helps.

If the above step doesn't work, please share the project URL with us via private message and grant us edit access to the project.

Thanks,

Tarun

@ruthm64, Thank you for your patience.

I just came across your post and wanted to know if you still need help, as it has been a while since this was last reported, and sadly, I haven't been able to replicate it on the web or the prior and the beta version of the mobile app.

Please retest again by logging out of Adobe Express on all devices and then clear your browser cache and cookies, ensuring you have installed the latest version using a different browser or incognito mode.

Additionally, you can check if plug-ins are disabled and add Adobe Express to your browser's safe list.

Please retest this and let us know if you still require assistance. If so, please include your walk-through video to see what's happening. Rest assured, we'll be happy to troubleshoot further, and we look forward to hearing from you.
