Adobe Express Video rotation issue.

Each video I have edited today where I had to rotate my video to 90°. It keeps showing an expanded version or extremely distorted version that does not show the accurate thing like when downloaded. So when I download it, it’s fine but in the actual app when I’m editing it, it’s all distorted so I can’t edit clearly. This is the first time it’s ever happened to me. Even when I exited the app and restarted it, each video keeps showing that distortion.

    Hi Everyone!

This issue has now been resolved.

We recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies. If you're using the mobile app, restart the app and try again.

Feel free to drop a confimation here!

    Thanks!

I've noticed my vertical videos that I upload using YouTube shorts or Instagram reels size are Auto rotating once any type of editing is attempted. I have not had this issue previously and noticed this for the past two days. Now I'm unable to use this app that I pay for for any YouTube shorts or Instagram post. I've tried to resize the video, scale the video, and delete and start over but it still does the same and even zooms in.

I i’ve tried selecting between fit, and fill to see if it would stop stretching the video, but it did not help.

Adobe express is rotating my videos to be sideways and it is stretched out.  I tried adjusting it to fit instead of fix and I also made sure it was 16:9 size.  Editing my videos has always worked pretty well in this program.  I’m using videos taken from my iPhone (they were not taken sideways).  This is happening when I try to make an IG Reel.

Any update on the Adobe Express APP Rotating and Stretching Videos After Uploading? It’s still happening. I’ve tried it on a Free Account, but I also have Premium and there’s no difference.

This is happening to me too. Auto rotation and distortion of any video I upload. How do we fix?

I am having this same issue as well no matter attempting to change the size and I’ve uploaded a lot and once I play it, it flips. Where you able to figure out how to fix it?

When I upload a vertical 9:16 video into a 9:16 canvas it turns it horizontal 16:9 and compresses the video so I cannot rotate it and resize it because it has been stretched (see screen caps of original video before import, the video after import, and the video rotated).  As the video uploads it looks fine until the video is fully uploaded, then it rotates.  I have been on vacation and haven’t used express for almost 2 weeks so I don’t know if an update did this, but it is happening with videos I previously uploaded and worked fine along with videos I just took.  I am using a template canvas I have been using for over 6 months with no problems.  I have tried clearing the cache, etc. to not avail.  I can upload the MOV video to clipchamp and export it as an MP4 video and then it works as it did before, but I have been uploading MOV files fine prior to this.  I have an HP laptop and use chrome for Express.  If I have to us clipchamp going forward why would I continue to subscribe to Adobe Express and just make my videos in clipchamp?

I tried to rotate it, but now the video is 16:9 and blurry from stretching it

I am having a very similar problem. The videos are rotating upside down when I export them. They are fine when they are loaded in. Lost an entire day’s worth of work on this - very angry and frustrated. I am not even adjusting brightness or anything - it’s just flipping upside down on its own.
