Adobe Express Video rotation issue.

Hi, I’ve been having the same issue with Adobe Express for several days. Uploading video shot vertically and it flips it sideways and stretches. Yesterday I had one out of three that stayed in format. Just chiming in to wish all the great Adobe people a quick and speedy fix. Thank you for the product. It’s great when it isn’t misbehaving.

The same thing (videos and photos warping after being uploaded) has been happening to me. This is extremely frustrating, considering I’ve never had a problem with Adobe before.

I work with multiple small businesses and use Express regularly to create social media content. Until this issue is fixed, I can’t serve my clients (which makes it hard to justify paying for a subscription). Adobe, please fix this.

I think I’m having a similar issue. I’m uploading a variety of videos and cutting them into short clips to create a compilation. But several of the videos are flipping and becoming distorted as they load. When I initially upload them, they appear fine. But after a couple minutes, some of the videos rotate and stretch out. This doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the individual files. There are several examples of videos that I’ve uploaded twice, so I can use 2 different clips. For those cases, the first upload remains in the correct format, but the second upload rotates and becomes distorted. This happens even after I refresh and/or close and reopen the app. I’m using an HP OmniBook 7 laptop and my browser is Chrome. I’m assuming I have the latest version of Adobe Express, but I’ll check to see if I need to update it. I pay for Premium. 

I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see if there are any developments. Really hoping this issue gets fixed.

Issue: when uploading videos as soon as they have loaded on the timeline, they suddenly rotate 90 degrees and stretch to fit the canvas size. yes, i have unticked fill video. still does it.
Product: Adobe Express (desktop app) on mac and lenovo 
Platform: mac desktop and lenovo desktop

Steps:

• Open a video timeline
• Click upload
• Choose video file (mp4 or mov)
• Open the downloaded file
• Expected: video appears on scene
  Actual: video appears on scene, glitches, rotates, stretches, refuses to return to original format. see pics
   

every time i upload a video to the timeline, it rotates the video 90 degrees and stretches it to fit the canvas.

does it to every video. cant get to stick it original scale and rotation. once has uploaded it glitches and turns and now all my video is sideways and stretched.

Exactly the same thing is happening to me. Video recorded on my iphone, imported on the PC into Adobe Express and it keep rotating and distorting my video. This has never happened before until day (17th July 2026). I have created heaps of videos using the exact same method and it has never been an issue. This is really frustrating, I have tried several things to try and fix it within the software without success… there has to be a bug in the Adobe System since they’ve done some sort of update.
