I am having this issue right now and it is devastating to me. I have spent a week making a product ready for distribution at work and I cannot get the file to export as a PDF and a PNG or JPEG version break my links. What am I supposed to do? I have tried all of the suggested fixes. PLEASE HELP. Additionally, this is a government license version being used at a US Federal Agency. If this issue persists, I will inquire about it and hopefully have the licensed pulled agency-wide.
I get the urgency - a week’s of work on the line is a lot, and I want to make sure we get this resolved as quickly as possible.
A couple of things to try:
Duplicate the project and try exporting the duplicate as a PDF: sometimes this can resolve export issues tied to a specific project's state.
Share with a colleague and have them try downloading as PDF from their account, to rule out whether it's account-specific.
If you're willing, could you also share the project with us directly so we can take a look? Here's how:
Open the project in Express - I would recommend making a duplicate copy anyway just in case
Click Share → Who has access → Anyone and set to Can edit
Copy the link and share it with me via DM
For the fastest resolution given the urgency, I'd also recommend reaching out to our Chat Support team in parallel at https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html (click the three dots menu) — they can access your account directly.
I would love to be able to share it with you but I am not able to given the content. I tried the duplication method and that still did not work. What would you try if I shared it with you that you won’t write here? I desperately need to fix this.
If you don't have premium access to an image asset, you should be blocked from downloading at the outset ("Upgrade to download") as shown in the screenshot below. Not run into PDF download errors/hangs that others are reporting here.
What I have found as the main issue for this not downloading is you don't have full premium access to the image or asset you are attempting to use in Adobe Express.
Pay for full image access. Also you can download them from Adobe stock images sit3e and upload the file you want in Express. This allowed me to convert my slides into a pdf document and I could download them. I'm shocked this hasn't been explained by support.
Apologies for the inconvenience. Can you share a screenshot of the template you used via private message? If not sure how to send through private message, click on this link. A screenshot of a few of the templates would help us identify the issue.
