Cannot upload video file to Adobe Express Web App

I'm having issues uploading video from my laptop to Adobe express web app. I have tried on 3 different laptops and same issue. It just hangs trying. I am able to select the file, but it just gets stuck trying to open. I've tried regular upload, I've tried uploading via trim video quick actions but after selecting the file, it just hangs. I've tried different files that I know are ok, but nothing. It was working yesterday, but not today

Hello.

I've tried all of the usual trouble-shooting steps at listed above, but nothing has worked.

It's not the first time I've had this issue and the fact that I've seen threads from as far back as 2023 suggest it's an ongoing issue.

Thankfully I was able to schedule my content created in the app from scratch, and yet I can't upload my videos to edit.

Thanks for your response @marcotiero,

Could you please share a screen recording of the issue you're experiencing when it occurs? We're here to help, just need some info.

I constantly face this issue despite the settings being untouched on my camera. I've just recorded a bunch of new videos, all about a minute in length yet keep getting the notifcation saying unable to upload the video and to try a different file. I tried to open videos I've already used in the past, and these don't work either.

I've tried to find a fix for this online and it appears the issue has been ongoing at least since 2023. Surely someone at Adobe would have resolved the issue indefinitely in this time frame.

Completely useless software. Same issue. Can't upload any videos. Completely pointless subscription.

Hi @ben_1563,

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know which file format you are trying to upload? Do you get any error messages? Is it happening with just one video or with all? Would you be willing to share the screen recording of the issue?

You may also check this post on how to report a bug in order for us to investigate better- https://adobe.ly/42z2N9J

Same problem.  I had it about a week ago, around when this thread started, it 'fixed' but now it's back again.

Can't upload a video.

Infuriating.  I put out a video a day as content and the last two days I've been unable.

Please rectify this basic functionality.

Hi @ @Deckiedoo1441, @ruthp36256461! Thanks for confirming that it's working fine for you now. You may still want to clear the cache/cookies of the browser once.

Best!

I have been having the same issue for 2 days now.  Still not working as of entering this message.

Same is happening to me. Adobe Exp online allowed me to upload 2 small videos once I signed out (but I needed to sign in to combine). Once I sign in, it just spins. Tried on 2 different devices and 2 different browsers (chrome and DDG). Rebooted everything, cleared caches, etc.

This is also happening to me.

I've cleared cache, restarted my laptop, tried a different laptop, switched browsers, tried incognito mode, tried the desktop app, tried different video files (even one I've had success with in the past)...nothing.

I'm trying to upload a video to caption and whenever I select any file it is stuck on 'Loading Media' with a spinning circle and does not progress further. This is a brand new laptop and the internet connection is fine, I've checked.

Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing the details. We've shared this internally to look into and once there is more information to share on this, we'll let you know.

Additionally, I tried uploading videos in both the project canvas and under the 'Caption video' quick action, and it seems to work fine for me, but we are investigating this.

Feel free to share any observations or screen recordings with us, that might help in the investigation.

Thanks!
