CLOSED - Known Issue 8/7: Adobe Express downloads stuck at 90% — recent reports and workaround

Hi all,

We've seen a recent uptick in reports of downloads getting stuck at 90% in Adobe Express, across PDFs, images, and other file types. This has come up in a few separate threads, so we're consolidating reports here to make it easier to track and update everyone in one place.

A couple of users have also found success with this specific workaround:
→ Turn off your browser's security features/extensions
→ Instead of duplicating the file, create a brand-new project and copy the file into that new project
→ Try downloading from there

If none of that resolves it, a HAR file captured while the download gets stuck would really help our team dig into what's happening. Here's a guide on generating one: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/generate-har-file.html

We're actively looking into this and will keep this thread updated as we learn more.

Rose

Update: we've identified the root cause of the recent download/export issues getting stuck at 90% (and similar stuck-progress symptoms on video uploads). This is tied to an infrastructure issue affecting multiple export and import services, not something specific to your files or browser setup.

Our engineering team is actively working on this.

Final Update: The engineering team has deployed a fix across systems, so we should be back up and running! This thread will now be closed. Any future outages will utilize a new community thread!

Experiencing the same issue on desktop and mobile.

Tried a workaround by saving it on Google Drive, however that stalled at 96%.

I guess this is a significant issue, multiple posts here.  I am in the same boat, hopefully the more additional notes they receive, the more urgently they will address the issue.  i also have multiple projects heading into the weekend that i need to access.

I need to print this TODAY!!!!!  I have cleared cache, opened in Chrome and Edge browsers, I have wasted time changing fonts….STILL freezes at 90%  I DO NOT HAVE TIME for this!!!! I was supposed to be printing an hour ago!!!! What else can I do????

I’m having the same issue downloading a GIF that I had no problems with yesterday. Can somebody from Adobe let us know if this is an issue on the backend? I’ve let this Medium Quality GIF run for an hour and I’m still hung up at 90%
