Unable to Download Video - Download Error

I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue when trying to download video projects in Adobe Express. While I can successfully download static posts (images, graphics, etc.), videos that include footage from the Adobe Express media library consistently fail to download.

The error message simply says “Download Failed” without further details.

I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Switching browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari)
  • Using incognito mode
  • Clearing cache and cookies
  • Restarting my device
  • Signing out and back into Adobe Express

None of these have resolved the issue.

Is anyone else facing this? Any suggestions or updates from the Adobe team would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @seanpix,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know whether this is happening only with video files or with all files? Did you try using another browser to check if that helps? Did you try duplicating the file and trying again to check if that helps?

If possible, can you share the URL of the file with me via private message with edit rights to investigate further?

Tarun

Hi @Tarun Saini, I am also having this issue and have been dealing with it for some time. My company IT was not able to provide a solution. I am only able to download static images, but no video files. Can you please assist?

Hi @KariAnn24142792e312,

Welcome to the Adobe Express community! We’re sorry to hear about this. Thanks for trying the steps. Did you try duplicating the project to see if that helps? Could you please share the file URL via private message with edit rights so I can investigate further?

On my end, it started working again without me changing anything, which was strange. A couple of things that might help on your side are checking that everything is up to date, including your browser and Windows or macOS

Hi @defaultcjp51qwxmlln

It looks like something in your network configuration is blocking access to one or more Adobe services. This could be caused by firewalls, ad-blockers, or network proxies.

If you’re using a managed or enterprise network, please check with your network administrator to ensure Adobe services are allowed through your connection.

Can you please follow the guidelines under the following link and see if this resolves the issue?

Thanks

I'm having the same issue when trying to export an .mp4, is there a resolution? We have an urgent deadline to meet and this is very problematic.
