Hello,

I'm a children's clothing designer and I use Adobe Firefly to create character illustrations to showcase our outfit designs. However, whenever I try to generate a character that looks like a child (around 4–13 years old), I get the following error: "We can't process this prompt."

I always avoid using any unsafe or sensitive terms. The characters are meant to be cute, cartoon-style visuals for fashion mockups — not realistic or photo-based depictions.

This is an important part of my work, and I would appreciate any help in resolving this limitation. My professional Instagram is @28592330.jodeiry, where you can see examples of our clothing and the design style we're going for.

Please let me know if there's a way to enable this feature or work within acceptable guidelines.

Thank you very much.

Hello @satisfied_Radiance1981,

I am sorry you are having this problem.

Is this the whole prompt:

around 4 years old, shown from head to toe, standing naturally in the scene, sharp focus on facial features, hands, and feet, visible realistic skin texture and fine hair details, no plastic or airbrushed look, realistic imperfections like slight shadows or natural skin tone variation, soft studio lighting with gentle falloff, slightly desaturated tones and low contrast for a natural appearance, minimal post-processing, cinematic composition with clear subject-background separation, no pastel tones or Al-like color stylization, standing barefoot in a minimalist white photography studio with no background distractions, looking at the camera with a soft smile, relaxed posture, hands slightly apart, evenly lit with natural shadow under the feet

Or is the beginning cut off? I was able to generate using the prompt above. If this is not the whole prompt, please include the complete prompt.

Your prompt is written like a story, and the model can have problems with prompts written like that. It also has negative prompts which do not work (actually, they tend to add what you are asking be excluded because the model ignores the negating words). I recommend this document: Writing effective prompts to further help you in crafting good prompts.

My best,
