Bug in ear selection in generative fill tool

Dear Adobe team,

Description:

I am using Adobe Firefly and I am experiencing a bug in the ear selection in the generative fill tool. When I try to select an ear, the tool does not select the entire ear, but only a portion of it. This makes it difficult to use the tool to fill in the ears of an image.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open an image with an ear in it.
2. Select the generative fill tool.
3. Click on the ear.
4. The tool should only select a portion of the ear.

Expected behavior:

The generative fill tool should select the entire ear when it is clicked on.

Reproducible on:

• Adobe Firefly version 1.2.3
• Windows 10
• macOS Big Sur

Workaround:

• Use a different selection tool, such as the lasso tool or the magic wand tool.
• Adjust the tolerance settings for the selection tool.
• Zoom in on the area you're trying to select.
• Manually select the ear.

Severity:

Medium

Impact:

The bug makes it difficult to use the generative fill tool to fill in the ears of an image.
