To create calendars you have several options:  
Adobe Express
Adobe Express is a free App, that has a paid option, with many templates

other premium options would be:
Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator.

InDesign would give you a lot of flexiblity. 

If you want you could create a full screen video of your workflow showing us what is happening? This would help considerably.
