I uploaded an image to edit with a prompt.  entered the prompt, selected an available generator, clicked generate, and got nothing .. just an exclamation point in the lower boxes.  Tried again with different generator and it did same thing.

sorry, brand new to all this and thought I was just reporting a bug - you can delete this post if you want. The image is a jpg and I was asking it to regenerate with the correct dimensions and gave those - no altering of the image basic composure.  I tried with gemin nano and it did nothing.  I tried to do it with gpt 1.5 and that’s when I got exclamation point.  I tried a different image, same prompt, same size same everything, with gpt 1.5 and it did exactly what I asked.  I did 6 more with gpt 1.5 and got what I wanted.  Tried the first image again with gpt 1.5 and it forced it over to gemini nano so I tried again and got exclamation point.  Tried to force it to gpt and exclamation point.  I deleted that image from my library, cleared cache, resaved flatten version and tried again… still exclamation points.

    Hi @Shea308864140ub6,

Thanks for reporting this. It sounds frustrating when image editing doesn't produce any results and only shows an exclamation mark.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please share a few details?

    • What type of image are you uploading (JPG, PNG, HEIC, etc.)?
    • Approximately how large is the image file?
    • Which browser and operating system are you using?
    • Does the exclamation mark appear immediately after clicking Generate, or after processing for a while?
    • Could you share a screenshot of the error or the exclamation mark?
    • What prompt were you using when the issue occurred?
    • Does the same behavior happen with other images, or only this specific image?
    • Are you able to generate images normally without uploading a reference image?

A few troubleshooting steps to try:

    1. Refresh the page and try again.
    2. Open Firefly in an Incognito/Private browser window.
    3. Clear your browser cache and cookies.
    4. Try a different supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari).
    5. Resize or compress the image and try again.
    6. Upload a different image to see if the issue is specific to the original file.
    7. Temporarily disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools.

    Regards,

    Tarun
