Can't upload more than 1 reference image anymore for image editing. Web (Chrome) and Mobile (Chrome)

it can be UI/glitch issue rather than a limit change  if it still shows "1 of 6 allowed," the cap hasn't actually changed, the button just isn't responding.

1. Hard refresh Ctrl+Shift+R (or clear cache) on Chrome desktop, and clear site data on mobile Chrome.

2. Disable extensions ad blockers and script blockers sometimes break file picker buttons. Try incognito to rule it out.

3. Check permissions  make sure Chrome still has file/storage access allowed for the site.

4. Try a different browser  if Edge or Firefox works fine, it's Chrome-specific.

5. Log out and back in sometimes session state gets stuck.
