Does Generative fill also use Firefly image 2?

Whenever I switch from Firefly to Generative Fill I see a huge decrease in quality and effectiveness of response. This obviously increases the number of credits used in order to obtain usable results but this decrease in quality also impairs workflow.
Most of the times instead of using Generative Fill I end up doing some old fashion Photoshop compositing.
I would like to know if there´s a workaround so we can make generative fill more accurate, realistic and useful overall.
