To better understand the issue, please provide more details about your workflow and system setup. Which Firefly function were you using, and could you specify your Operating System (OS) and Browser (including version numbers)?
If possible, sharing a full‑screen recording of the behavior would also be very helpful.
In the meantime, please try another workaround: go to your Generation History tab, select the three dots in the upper‑right corner, and attempt to download the image from there.

you see the browser and system version. The 3th image shows the only way how I can download. Normally you click on the image and than download goes fluently, Also a button appears every time says “downloading”. But the button does not work. What do I wrong.
