error in generating images

firefly takes my credits but generates nothing. The generation process freezes, doesn't create any images, and the credits disappear. This has been going on for a long time. For longer time i can't upload reference images either. What happened?

Hi athletic_childf1de,

Sorry to hear you're running into that "Something went wrong" error. A few quick things you can try to see if it fixes the issue:

  1. Try a different web browser (or an Incognito/Private window) to rule out browser extensions or cache issues.

  2. Disable any active VPN, ad-blockers, or strict firewall settings temporarily.

  3. Clear your browser's cache and cookies (see image below):

For more details and additional troubleshooting steps, you also check this article as well!

Thanks

facing simmilar issue - image generation is frozen, images are not being generated since 20minutes - can't use the firefly tool. attaching screenshot (google chrome macstudio m2max). Maybe you could add panic-stop button to unfreeze/stop the generation process to the tool? that would help a lot I guess....

Hi there!

Sorry to see that. Have you tried generating on another browser?

Let us know if that brings any change.

Thanks,

Just to add what @droopydog500 has said - let us know what browser you're using, plus screenshots.

The advice to try different browsers is a good idea to determine if that is the issue.

Hello @piotr_krauze,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Can you please show us a screen shot of what you see? Do you get an error when uploading the reference image or does it silently not upload?

This sounds like it could be browser extension or firewall interference. Please try another browser as a test and see if it works. If that also fails, if you are using windows, try resetting the firewall to the default configuration.

Thanks,
