Favorites -View Samples is BROKEN

In my favorites, when I click on "View Samples", this used to take me directly to the sample marked as "Favorite", instead, now, it generates new images instead of bringing me what I clicked on. The new generations are completely different from the sample I wanted to work with (hideous!). How do I access a previous generation, marked as a favorite?

Hi @Grace33319179k856,

I have moved your post to this thread with others who have reported the same issue. Adobe is aware of this issue. I have not heard of a resolution yet.

Hello,

I’ve noticed an issue with the "View Samples" feature in my Favorites. Previously, clicking "View Samples" would take me directly to the image I had marked as a favorite. However, now it generates entirely new images instead of displaying my selected favorite. These new generations are completely different from what I intended to work with and do not match my preferences.

Additionally, I have lost a significant number of credits trying to retrieve my previously saved image, but the feature wasn’t working as expected. How can I access the previously generated image that I marked as a favorite? I’d appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue, as well as any assistance in recovering my lost credits.

Thank you.

Hi @RS Merrifield,

This might be part of a larger problem. It would help us if you told us what OS and browser you are using and the versions.

Thanks,

I wanted to take the first image (one orchid bloom) and use generative fill to expand the background so that the flower was not dead center. Prompt: A moody vintage oil painting of a cattleya orchid plant in situ. (with  Impressionism, Faded Image, Bohemian, Nostaligc)

I click on "view Samples"  of the favoried single orchid in the center and get the second image of 3 orchids, quite different.

Hey @RS Merrifield

To prevent this from happening again in the future. I have found keeping a Google Doc or Word Doc with the links of the images helps prevent lossing the images that I have liked/ favorited.

Cheers

O. Nate

Hello @RS Merrifield,

Can you please show us the before (from favourites) and after (after regeneration) images?

I am on Windows 10, and using Chrome Version 131.0.6778.205 (Official Build) (64-bit). I don;t know how to tell te date of the samples but they are fairly recent, no more than 2 weeks old. Dissapointing to hear that I cannot view and work with older images. I sometimes like to go back to the and use "generative fill" or "generate similar" on the older ones. It's the whole reason I put them in favorites. Note that I treid again today, using these recent images and got the same result, new images that are nothing like the first generation and no way to access the first generation.

I'm using the most recent onlline version of Firefly on a Macbook Pro with Ventura 13.7.1

When I click on an image in my Favorites in order to further work on it using Adobe tools, instead of pulling up the four images that contain the one I'm interested in, four new images are generated.

Previously I was able to solve this by restarting FireFly. This no longer works.

Hello @Don331749151y8p,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Can you please post a copy of the original image and a link to the image from the generation page?  You can download the image after hovering over the image in favourites and after going to the generation page, do a copy link to image to get the URL.

Thanks,

Hi RS Merrifield!

I'm sorry to hear that. In addition to the community expert questions, could you let us know the OS and the browser version that you're using?

Thanks,

KR

Hello @RS Merrifield,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

How old are the samples and what model was used to generate them originally?  Changes in the model can lead to the inability to generate exactly the same image again. If the model is no longer available (Model 1) it is also not possible to generate the same image.

Thanks,
