Firefly reduces frame size when processing, e.g 3241x2157 to 2528x1682.

As described above. Is this normal, a setting or a bug. Frame ratio is correct. This happens in 2K setting, 4K setting creates a much larger file, but I find no setting that will just keep the original frame size.

    Hi @finnjacob,

Thanks for reporting this. Firefly may process images at a different resolution than the original file, which can result in the output dimensions being reduced (for example, from 3241 × 2157 to 2528 × 1682).

To better understand what's happening in your case, could you please share:

    • Which Firefly feature you're using (Generate Image, Generative Fill, Video, Upscale, etc.)?
    • Whether the resize occurs with all images or only specific files.
    • The file type of the original image (JPG, PNG, etc.).
    • A screenshot showing the original and processed dimensions, if available.

This information will help determine whether the resolution change is expected behavior for the selected workflow or if there's an issue that needs further investigation.

    Regards

    Tarun
