I'm trying to work with your video generator.

My source material consists of photos of humans that I generated beforehand using SDXL. No real humans appear in these images, and I have full rights to use them. To ensure diversity within my project, I generated subjects of different genders and ethnicities. To be clear, these images are not explicit in any way. They are simply fashion photoshoot-style images.

My goal is to use your video generator to animate them. But your restrictions make this impossible, unless the subject is a white man. Any image of a woman or a black person gets automatically flagged.

I understand the importance of content moderation in AI. But in this case, your arbitrary restrictions are actively undermining the diversity of my project. I have nothing against white men, I am a white man myself, but these rules create a crucial lack of representation in my results, and by extension in all Firefly generations.

Every month, I pay a subscription to Creative Cloud for €78.65. €78.65. For that price, I think the least I can expect is working tools. Please stop treating users like the problem, when the real issue lies in the limitations you’ve imposed.

I don't expect real help from Adobe support—I know you don’t have the power to fix this. I simply want to stress that the wheel is turning. Like many others, I am eagerly waiting for a competitor. A player who won’t use my €78.65 to line shareholders’ pockets, but to improve the quality of its products.

AI is supposed to be your flagship product. At least that’s what you tell everyone. But you are more than two years behind, in a field where every month counts. You had the opportunity to lead the way, to embody the future of digital creation. Instead, you’ve chosen to capitalize on your brand name. And while you rest on your laurels, others are moving forward.

It’s time to wake up. For you, and for the users who are spending a fortune every month to finance stagnation.
